"Got this in the Christmas BOA. Not the gun I hoped for but this thing opened my eyes to cqb guns. I play outdoors but this still has the power and precision to compete outdoors. I’m hoping to change to stock so I have more battery space because only a tiny 1000 7.4v fits. Idk what stock fits though

"No way this has a 280mm inner barrel...more like 135mm
Awesome gun though!

"This is my first Krytac aeg. I am a big fan of CYMA and G&P, and have been seeing a lot of Krytac aegs on youtube and on the field and wanted to get one for myself .First off, the packaging is great and you do not have to worry about your terrible UPS delivery drivers who drop or toss your package. I have to say, this aeg feels just as good as my G&P aegs, if not better for nearly half the price. The external build quality is solid, with no wobble besides the magazine, and its not much at all. The bolt catch locks back so you can adjust the hop up easily, and also the hop up is rotary like a prowin/zci/maxx etc... Right out of the box without hop adjustment, .25s shoot very accurate and very consistent. The rof is decent on a 7.4, but on an 11.1 its over 20 rps for sure. The trigger response on an 11.1 is great on semi as well, as it can handle an 11.1 respectively since it does have a mosfet pre installed. The magazine it comes with, is a high cap, its decent but I recommend mid caps. I tried some of my G&P high rps mid caps and they do not fit, but it does like Elite Force mid caps. That is my only gripe, but it does not change the 5* this aeg deserves. The different look it has with the handguard is great. Yes you will have to tap into the bottom of it and install a pic rail if you need a front grip, but if feels great without one. Well worth more than the price tag for any package you purchase of the aeg.

"This gun is one of the best I've owned. Cqb, this gun rocks. Mid range, right on target. I've even taken out a few long range. Everyone who tries it is amazed how well it hits and range. Only made a few adjustments to it, like a hevier spring to up the fps, and a motor to handle it.

"Got this from the Fourth of July Box of Awesomeness and it shoots wonderfully with a 9.6v 1200mAh battery (I don't own a LiPo, so I haven't tested with that yet.) Stock mag feeds well with 6mmProShop .25g BBs, I plan to bring this to a nearby field tomorrow to get some play time in. Also, rotary hop up and locking bolt are major benefits of the Krytac series, big A+ there.
Side note, I personally think this looks much better with a reflex red dot than with a T1 red dot, but that is super subjective.

"I have one of these and I love it to death. I got mine from a sale in Colorado Springs, Co, and it has some adjustments that are not stock on this. Mine has deans lipo batteries, so it uses a different charger. The connections on a deans are a little bit better for some hardcore play and use. I re-tightened and adjusted the internals and that's all the modification I did on my rifle.
Pro's
SMALL
It's a beast in cqb, and mid range engagements.
Very simple and basic, bare bones and works well with just one sight.
Can handle major abuse
Incredible accuracy for a cqb.
Lots of room in the trigger well, for gloves
Con's
Only top side picatinny for an optic. No other picatinny rails for handguards, or other accessories.
This is a small gun, don't use it if you want a full size ar-15 type rifle.

"Gun is amazing. Very compact design makes for quick and easy door checking. Very responsive trigger. Accuracy is very impressive for how short the gun is. Over all its my favorite by far. Only downside is the rather limited battery selections.

"This is a very outstanding gun and I definitely recommend it. the only downsides are 1 it has a bit more weight to it than I thought it would because it is a smaller gun and 2 it said package includes front and rear sights and mine did not ship with those. but other than that and outstanding gun.

"overall a stunning gun. very good for room clearings and CQB, although the rate of fire is a bit slow due to the tiny battery compartment. other than that it's amazing!

"Oh god its so ugly
Got this is a mystery box, its got a good gearbox, but it has major drawbacks.
-VERY small battery space, that's the price of that MP5 aesthetic. It also doesn't even collapse that far and does not save much storage space.
-The front rail is dumb. Im sorry but its not only ugly, it accepts no rail system (no it has no M-Lok), and its wide and slippery.
-No threaded muzzle.
-the weird handgaurd can be removed quickly, but as far as I know there is nothing to replace it with.
-Typical of Krytac the fire selector is ambi (which is a bit annoying, it runs into the index finger knuckle a lot), and its pretty stiff.
I replaced the upper with a proper Krytac PDW upper that can accept accessories, and its a pretty good set up, with a Romeo 5 and Somogear PEQ on a Hydra mount (a copy of one at least), and a Streamlight microstream, and its a very servicable gearbox and a great aesthetic with the short M-lok Upper and the MP5 style stock.
Would not recommend unless you wanna have that goofy upper or intend to replace it with something else.

"Nice cosmetic finish, heavy for such a small AEG. TLDR- poor first impression.
I have not shot it yet for reasons I will discuss at the end.
First, the item arrived with a small defect. The dust cover will not close. On closer inspection inside the box reveals a very small (about the size of a large flea) plastic piece. I believe it is the broken part of the dust cover catch. It is unfortunate that the EAG arrived broken, but as small as that piece of plastic is, it is very likely that it would have broken off after a few weeks/months of use.
Magazine release button is hard to press when magazine is inserted. It sticks unless you press it square. Press the button slightly of center and it sticks and a lot of force is needed to depress and release the magazine. Press it exactly center and it will depress easy and release the mag. That is not easy to do if you have small or extra large hands. For me, I have to tilt the rifle away from my firing position to press the magazine release squarely centered. Not good during fire fight.
The Charging handle is the same. You cannot pull just from the side with the release latch. It sticks. You have to use two fingers, one on each side in order to pull back. So if it is being pulled just from the left or the right side, it sticks. I am sure the charging handle serves a function of causing the dust cover to open, but see my complaint above.
Pistol grip is smooth plastic. Too smooth. No texture and very slippery. Don't like it.
Came with one Mid-cap magazine. Feel and finish is good quality. I like the bright orange bb retention and follower. The base plate comes off by pressing the orange triangle underneath. I took it off because I was wondering if there was a hidden compartment in there. I will explain why below.
Now, for the reason why I have not shot it yet. The battery compartment in in the buffer tube. The compartment is held close with an allen screw. This AEG does NOT come with an allen wrench. I look in the box, i looked in the magazine, i looked on the gun. No allen wrench for the battery compartment. Unfortunately, I did not have one of the right size. I don't understand why I can go to Ikea and buy a $60 nightstand and it comes with an allen wrench and this $315 toy cannot include one.
Once I get an allen wrench and get a battery in this gun, i hope the experience will get better. But my first impressions are not good.
