"For those wondering, the flash hider does have two threads on each side, both 14mm which should fit most suppressors/tracer units. I paired this with the CYMA Platinum SMG 9 and worked like a charm.

"Great for the CYMA MP5K PDW.
Increased my FPS by 2-3 fps.
Chrono before was 334, 335, 334, now its reading, 336, 337, 338. Very happy and now I can use my tracer unit.

"I recently bought a cyma mpk5. The stockless or pistol model of the mp5. This gun comes with a short(non-threaded) orange plastic barrel tip. I searched long and hard to try and find someone online who had installed this metal (cyma)threaded adapter into their mp5k successfully. I could not even seem to confirm whether or not the mp5k had threads to install this (suppressor ready) flash hider or not.
I can confirm that indeed it does fit and fits well! I removed the short orange end with hot water. Once the tip was heated; it unscrewed easily and this metal threaded flash hider screwed right into place.
Now I can use an extended barrel and cover it with a mock suppressor. Hope this helps cyma mp5k owners who want to have a longer barrel or just like the suppressor look. This flash hider will work.

"Product itself is great, however the naming is extremely confusing. The 'internally threaded version' is for the CYMA MP5K/SMG9 compact PDW variant. The 'pinned version' is for the CYMA MP5/SMG9. The standard size smg's use a different smaller thread pitch I am yet to measure, whereas the K/compact models use a standard 14mm CW/+ thread pitch. Both flash hiders seem to have 14mm CCW/- threads for suppressors which come with screw on thread protectors. I would recommend the Gemtech Raptor II mock suppressor, as it is the only one I found that fit the lugs on these muzzle devices. Unfortunately, a couple other suppressors I tried would not fit due to the catch lip for the lugs being too tight.
