GATE ASTER II Bluetooth Airsoft Programmable ETU Module w/ Adjustable Quantum Trigger (Type: V2 & HPA / Expert / Front Wired)

"I'm the head AEG tech for my local airsoft store and the Aster 2 Bluetooth is my go-to ETU for any custom builds. Peruns have their strengths (easy setup, rugged, and great for 'set it and forget it' ETU control) but the GCS app really is the bread and butter of the Aster/Titan ETUs.

The level of control you get over your replica can't be beat. Precocking and Active Brake settings down to 1% increments, 200+ points of trigger sensitivity, multiple ways to do rate of fire control, adaptive precocking that accounts for battery voltage drop. The ability to make minor tweaks, save the changes, test them, and immediately make new ones with the GCS app versus having to constantly go back into programming mode with any other non-bluetooth ETU makes this my #1 recommended ETU.

The only, and I genuinely mean *only* thing I would change about the ETU is that I would like to see them use a softer, more flexible wire like the Perun ETUs; and that is purely a personal preference. Everything else about this ETU is stellar and the only one I ever had fail was because the gears failed and the sector gear knocked one of the microchips off the board. Other than that, I've yet to have a single one come back in any of the guns I've made.

"This is an excellent MOSFET. It was easy to install, though the installation did require a small amount of modification to the gearbox. There are comprehensive videos available that clearly show what to do. Once in, it was easy to set up with the GATE app. The app is free (as of now) and user friendly. I've only put about five thousand rounds through my gun since it's installation (I use a Matrix AEG M4A1), but the change in trigger has made a huge difference. My trigger pull is about a quarter inch thanks to quantum trigger - previously it was about half to three quarters of an inch. I've run 7.4-11.1v batteries, and the MOSFET functioned identically with all of them. The only concern with high volt/high output batteries is that the MOSFET will burn out sooner, but it's not a major concern. I highly recommend this product to anyone who has the budget for it (and it is well worth the money).

"bought this for my newest build and it’s working perfectly, i’ve had no issues.

when i bought this i thought it was sketchy from the listing but it’s perfectly fine.

one thing to note is the packaging comes in a bag instead of the aster box, not sure if it was it’s supposed to come in but everything worked as it’s supposed to.
