"just like a real DD rail. Only difference is the material is a little cheaper feeling and edges aren’t as smooth as a real one but still for $300 less its a great handguard. I originally used it for an airsoft gun but it transferred VERY nicely over to my 300 BLK AR-15. I’ve shot around 400 rounds so far using the handguard and have noticed no issues aside from minor temperature increase on the handguard after around 50 rounds. I know it says airsoft only on the handguard but it works perfectly fine with real steel AR-15s

"Bought the Tan FSP version to fit into a basic CYMA M4 for a Block II FSP setup.
The rail, screws and other necessary bits were nicely packaged.
The mock has tube will have to be ditched, as a tiny little mock gas tube segment is included, I recommend wrapping it in teflon/plumber's tape to make it thicker and fit more snug in place inside the upper reciever.
The delta ring had no problem threading into place but the rail did bend upward slightly due to the front self retaining pin loops on the lower receiver being a bit too fat front-wise, all I had to do was file those back a bit to make the rail fit flush. No other modifications were necessary.
I would like to note that the rail is a bit darker than the pictures show it to be, but I don't mind that one bit, it's a very cool shade of Dark, rusty brown.

"The rail is made of high quality materials which is to be expected of something Daniel Defense is willing to put their name on. Unfortunately the tolerances were a little off for my gbbr. I eventually was able to install it, however; it required me to drill out the notch on the locking collar that aligns the rail with the upper receiver. The tab that goes in said notch was also too big to fit in the gas tube hole so I had to use a mallet to beat it in place. Once everything was on, it all tightened up nicely. Luckily I only had to be sent the wrong order once and wait a month or so for the rail to get here...6/10
