"I've had this gun for over 4 years and have rebuilt it many times. I run an 11.4 with a 30k motor and the stock internals had no problem. I would recommend this gun to anyone

"I wish I could leave a 4.8 star review, but 5 represents this gun fine.

This gun is very worth it for the price, especially on sale. After adding a GATE Titan, MAXX hop up, and other compression parts, this thing is a beast.

Pros:
Great construction - handguard and receiver are made from metal and the stock and grip are high-quality polymer
Good FPS out of the box
Able to hop .28s with no problem
DEANS!!
Snappy trigger
Super easy to take apart if you have to reach the gearbox
Stock compression parts are above average with a metal tooth piston double o-ring head. The gears are good too

Cons:
While I didn't run 11.1v LiPos for this reason, it is a common issue for the mosfet to melt on these (fixed with any third-party mosfet)
The handguard becomes wobbly occasionally and you have to tighten it with a hex key
My motor height screw would sometimes shake loose from firing and require me to re-tighten it
(These cons are minor issues)

In all, I highly recommend this gun with just a few issues keeping it from being perfect. With some simple upgrades, all of these issues can be solved and will leave you with a nasty BB-slinging gun.

"This gun is amazing so far. The fire rate is very fast and has a great response time. When pulling the bolt back if you don't let go and push it in manually the bolt release will not work. Comes with a pretty good mid-cap you can also use high-caps. The mags do shake a little when in the mag well but nothing concerning. The iron sights aren't the best I would recommend a red dot or something like that. The gun feels great to hold and fire. The M-LOK rails are the perfect size there not to big or small(I've had that problem before with other guns). I would definitely recommend the 14 M-LOK one the 13 is a little to little for my liking but if you like a smaller gun its for you. I would recommend this gun to anyone I love it

"Awesome gun. Trigger response and ROF out of the box are well above average. Bought a Perun hybrid v2 mosfet to upgrade this soon.

Got the 8.5in mlok version.

Gun is very well built and quality is good. The suppressor is a real pain to take off, I had to drill out a pin holding it in place and then melt some glue. Accuracy is good but could be better. Shoots 295-300fps with .32's.

Overall I would highly recommend this gun.

"Bought this gun a few months back, so far it has been a great gun save for one minor setback. I got the 13" model.

Couple things to note, you can't tell from the pic but under the orange ring is a 3 prong flash hider, and the orange ring breaks easily....allegedly.

Also, this thing is an absolute beast with an 11.1. The midcap it comes with won't last very long, but even at 40+ rps it has no issue keeping up. Impressive for an OEM midcap, if you plan on picking one of these up and need mags buy the CYMA ones with it. I normally run KWA polymer mid caps, they do fine but they always need a good smacking to get them to seat in the mag well.

The gun isn't the most accurate out of the box, but it isn't horrible. Definitely switch to an r-hop, it will make a giant difference.

I ran the gun a few games totally stock before I swapped in my asg high torque motor, the stock one is actually really good. I just knew my asg I had sitting around was better, so I put that in.

Mine shot 395 fps consistently out of the box.

Only issue I have had (with both motors) is it occasionally locks up on semi auto for some reason, I haven't been able to figure out why. The mosfet blinks red in the trigger, I always unplug the battery and plug it back in and it runs as fine after that.

Some people have talked about the mosfet melting, I have not had that happen but will be putting a gate aster in just in case regardless.

Overall, very impressed with this gun. CYMA has come a very long way with their build quality. The finish on this thing feels even better than my real armalite ar15. If you are a beginner looking for a first gun or to upgrade from a budget model, you won't be disappointed in this.

"Great gun without needing any upgrades, maybe the hopup and barrel if you wanted to but not necessary

"I can without any doubt say this gun is tough. Like really strong metal. How I know you ask? Well this gun was laying parallel in the trunk of my 2016 wrx when I was stopped and then rear ended by a young girl who was doing at least 55 to 60 my car was totaled from the back and this gun walked away while a single crack on the receiver and it knocked my orange tip off somehow. Crash happened Jan 1 gun still works with a Lipo months later with 5 to 6 games played since shoots beams still. Voided my warranty cause i bought it at a local store but thats about it.

"Had this gun for around 5 months, I run a Titan Power 7.4 lipo and it works like a charm. Shoots around 22-23 rpm, with .25 bbs it shoots consistently at 350-360. With .28 bbs it shoots consistently at 340 fps. The quality of the gun feels good and the range is incredible, it can shoot accurately for around 200ish feet.

"13" model here, yeah this thing rocks. I literally sold my MP5, P90 and Scar because of this. I can't go back to mechanical trigger anymore it's just impossible... You won't regret this especially on sale, though if you have to pay full price, grab the umbrella armory model, same gun with cool engravings. CYMA OUTDID THEMSELVES

"This is my re-review of the CYMA Platinum QBS M4 13" M-lok rail model

I have had this replica for about a year now, and I have some things to say about after my previous review. My previous review was my experience with the replica with almost stock internals. The only thing I changed at the time was the Pro Win hopup I installed into it as the stock CYMA hopup leaves much to be desired. At one point, the stock mosfet broke, and no it didn't fry itself, I broke the microswitch by accident medaling with the internals. After this, I mainly forgot about it and left it in my gun case for some time. Recently I've purchased new internal upgrades for it. Those upgrades are:
Perun V2 Hybrid mosfet
ZCI 6.02mm 363mm Inner Barrel
PDI W Hold 50 degree Hop up bucking

After installation of the Perun Hybrid mosfet, which requires only a tiny bit of gearbox modification to install, dremel tool recommended, the replica sings. The range was also improved by the W Hold bucking and the ZCI inner barrel, although I believe the range can be greater with heavier weight BBs as I only have .25g BBs. After these upgrades I will be using an 11.1v Lipo to run my gun which is the optimal battery to use after these upgrades, however with the stock mosfet I recommend a 7.4v Lipo. The replica might not run as fast as with an 11.1v Lipo, but with the stock internals the 7.4v will run this gun pretty well, the RoF will be slower but you will still have a snappy trigger response.

I would recommend this gun to players who have an understanding of how airsoft AEGs function, but I cannot recommend this gun to new players as there can be complications with the stock internals further down the line. The must have upgrades to get for anyone buying this replica however is a new hop up and bucking, the stock inner barrel is brass and is of pretty decent quality.

In terms of rating, I would give this replica a 4/5 stars in terms of stock performance, but after the upgrades I installed I would give this replica a 5/5. It's a really good replica under 300$ that can be easily upgraded with a basic understanding of internals and enough patience.

"Absolutely solid gun rof is great and range is pretty good i have dropped in a modify flat hop and prometheus barrel in it as well and it handles 11.1 lipos like a champ
by Vahn K. on 06/14/2021
"I absolutely love this gun. I have put it through some rough games and it has taken it like a champ. It is very accurate for being right out of the box. The only thing i would honestly upgrade on this gun is a better trigger response (even though the stock response is great) I want it a little faster for the indoor airsoft I play. I got the 10” for indoor and it is the best investment i have made.

"I have yet to go to a field and try this bad boy out, but when I took it out of the box and fired it with a half charged 7.4 LiPo battery, it shot amazing. I had no problems with the gun when I was unboxing it, and everything was in the package that it said included. I would recommend getting a dot sight because it doesn't come with a sight, and the sight that the gun naturally has is not that good. (p.s. you can take the natural sight off with a penny or flathead screwdriver). Some of the things that I have put on mine so far are: a reflex sight, keymod grip, and an 11.1 LiPo battery so that I can get to that 24-28 rps with the boys.

PROS:
Shoots great with great accuracy
Sounds awesome
Has nice weight to it so that if feels real enough
The gun is very hefty and built with the right metals

CONS:
Haven't had any at all

"Hands down the best gun stock gun on the market! The looks are beautiful to start, and it’s surprisingly light for being all metal. The hopup is a dial type (on mine anyway), but it is wired to deans. The stock is quite comfy and offers a pretty good amount of space. The QBS system is amazing. The spring guide is all metal and features a ball bearing. One thing to note: the stock spring guide fits in the back of a Retro Arms QC gearbox shell, which may suggest that the QBS system can still be used even with certain aftermarket gearbox shells. But, of course, the performance. The trigger response with a 7.4v 16c 3000mAh Titan Li-Ion battery is instantaneous. And the rate of fire is pretty quick, too, at around 15rps (which is quite impressive for a stock gun). All in all, this gun is fantastic and I can’t wait to field it! Not to mention the price. This gun can easily cost more than it is, but, no, it’s less than $300. Seriously, you’d be a fool to pass thing thing up.
