"This is the 2nd airsoft gun I have owned. I mistakenly bought this one instead of the A1 version as I was looking for Vietnam era handguards. I have found out the hard way that you cannot retrofit unless you are a gunsmith. The replacement handguards were just a touch off.
I do not actually play airsoft as a sport. I only have done backyard plinking and due to my age and eyesight probably never will. This is a fun gun to shoot in the backyard!
At first I had no real performance issues with the gun for about the first 15-20k rounds using quality BBs. Then I had horrible feeding issues. I brought to a local tech (45 miles away) who explained the bucking was bad. I had hopup and bucking replaced and they did some minor adjustments. This gun is shooting extremely accurate now!
My only real issue is the trigger pull. It is horrible on semi-auto. Don’t try to press it fast too many times or it locks up and then it seems you need to put it on full auto to clear. It’s ok in backyard but I think if on field play I’d be just throwing the gun at my enemy as soon as it jammed...
Tons of room for batteries and an ounce of your local budtenters favorite, although the plastic does feel rather thin and flimsy. Scratch what I said earlier, don’t throw it at your enemy. It will break the stock....
Pros:
Its a freakin M16!!
Metal rails very well made
Very accurate with minor upgrades
Battery compartment holds ounce of bud AND battery
Cons:
Semi auto is problematic
Thin butt stock
Overall my favorite gun. I have a M1 carbine GBB and a couple other M4s now but this is my baby. I have a big oil scope and a red dot sight on the top, metal bipod, rubber bayonet , and a roach clip holder all installed and I now am pew-pewing in style! Lol

"Just received this gun in the mail and am very satisfied with it! The FPS is great, and the rate of fire is excellent. The bbs start curving at about 40-50 feet once out of the barrel, and the spread is very wide, especially on auto... other than that, and the fact that the hand-guard and a couple other parts are loose, this is a great aeg for the money, I just wish the accuracy was better...

"This gun is a very solid gun. I've used it a couple times. The accuracy, fire rate, and build of this gun is great! I switched out the hop up unit for a classic army rotary hop up because the original hop up isn't the greatest. The hand guard of the rifle has little movement and is beautifully made. It is a VERY long rifle and shoots around 400-420 with .20's but I recommend using .25's or higher as this is meant to be a DMR. The metal construction is solid and pretty light considering the size of this thing and I recommend this gun to anyone who wants to get into sniping or wants an easy platform to perform upgrades to. This is an amazing gun for the price! I'd recommend this to anyone from beginner to advance!
Pros
-Accurate
-solid metal construction build
-lightweight considering the size of this thing
Cons
-Hop up is not the greatest
-Some mags have a tight fit and may require a little sanding or some lube
-little movement with the hand guard

"Bought the gun for $180. A few days later its $148. Nice. Great gun though, could use a new inner barrel and bucking though, accuracy is trash. Fire rate is decent. Buy it when its $148 please.

"I bought this gun a couple months ago and used it at Bad Blood. A few notes:
1. The accuracy is average
2. The hopup isn't great
3. The handguard SUCKS; it moves around loosely inside the delta ring and end cap (replacing with an m-lok system)
4. The trigger sometimes locks up when running on semi, but this seems to go away with time
5. The selector switch doesn't click, it just grinds as you flip it
6. Uses an old style fuse, which I replaced with a newer one
This gun is full metal, which is nice, but it is very heavy, especially with my 3800 mAh battery. Overall it runs pretty well and chronos around 390 or so. The range is very good. I highly recommend upgrading it if you get this.
