"I love this mask. But it’s given me nothing but trouble. Let me explain. These goggles claim to be “Z80.1 drop ball” rated. I have no idea what that is, and after briefly researching it from what I understand it’s only for rating that the frame of the visor simply stays in place when impacted. However, I’d recommend you doing your own research as I am not sure if this is factual. Anyways back on topic, this mask is SUPER COOL I love how it looks and the fact that is has the capabilities to attach to any kind of helmet rail is very convenient but is NOT “Z87.1+” Rated as it does not have any markings claiming so (at least the product that I have does not). Why does this matter? First of it matters because apparently it means that this visor is inadequate in it’s capabilities to hold up against bb fire. Second of all, it means that most if not all fields will not allow you to play with this eye protection unless you have additional RATED protection underneath covering your eyes. Which personally is the part that bothers me most. When I purchased this product about 1 1/2 years ago I tested it with my sniper at point blank. My sniper shoots about 400-420 fps with .20 gram bbs. A small mark was made on the mask but it was easily rubbed off and since then it’s been shot multiple times in the visor and still has not cracked (however it has been heavily scratched but not to the point of any indentations being left behind). It’s also worth noting that the lower mesh part of the mask has also seen minimal damage, however i’m not so sure if the lower part is steel but i’m no smith so how would I know. Additionally most fields will not allow you to use this mask for paintball. Almost every single field I’ve been to has given me crap about this mask in one way of another, see a detailed overview of pros and cons below:


Pros
- Looks AWESOME
- Lightweight
- Compatible with any rails with attachments
- Comes with 3 Different lens (Smoked, Clear, and Yellow Range)
- Sturdy and Holds up well
- Easily Breathable
- Good field of view
- Low profile for looking down iron sights or scopes
- While a slightly tight fit perception glasses or protective glasses will fit underneath
- Able to withstand 420fps with .20g bbs (CAN NOT SPEAK FOR OTHER WEIGHTS AND FPS)

Cons
- Fogs kinda easily depending of temperature (does not fog around 70-78 F will generally fog indoors or at any higher temperature) - You can use anti fog wipes or spray to amend this con
- NOT Z87.1+ RATED
- DOES NOT COVER YOUR EARS (can be a pro if you have electronic hearing protection but keep in mind if you do not most fields want you to have something covering your ears)
- If you have a long face or if neither of the sizes perfectly fit you it may not cover your chin enough for some fields
- Can be a pain to clean but should not be a problem as long as you take care of it before it gets bad (or if you avoid dirty environments)
- Not usable for paintball by most field regulations (although I have done it once and it was fine)
- Probably not steel mesh?

"Got this mask because it looked great aesthetically, and wasn’t super pricey. When I got the mask, the build quality was great, the packaging was awesome, and the accessories you get (extra lenses, helmet mounts, etc) we’re fantastic. I however had to return this mask because it is quite small. Even with the band adjusted to the max width, it was still small on my face. I am a bigger person, and I wear glasses. I couldn’t wear my glasses under the mask due to the small opening of the goggles, and the mask barely covered my face. If you don’t have a fat face like myself, I’m sure this mask would be perfect for you. If they made a bigger footprint mask, I would definitely rebuy this product.

"The worst part of this is the way it attaches to the helmet. Whatever plastic is being used for the helmet mount is too soft to hold up for more than a few times putting them on and off. The indention system that holds the helmet rail to the helmet are so flimsy that the buttons you use to move the helmet back and fourth are always going to press them back in the rail and off of the helmet. This product is like 80% of the way to being really great. If the helmet attachment was made out of a stronger plastic, there was a metal insert in the temple for the mask attach screw, and the steel mesh was a little bit longer (like 1/2 inch) I would recommend this to anyone. Unfortunately the price point is too cheap for what this really needs. I would gladly pay $60 for exactly this with slightly better materials and care in design.

"Very small compared to a dye i4, just feels all around tighter in every way. Really only wanted this so I could solid mount it to my helmet so I can run exfog tubes through my helmet for my glasses more then the mask. I can say Don’t buy this mask if you wear glasses they just won’t fit out of the box took about a hour with a dermal to clearance enough to be comfortable fielding the mask. Defiantly only for people with smaller faces/heads.

"I have been waiting for this mask in the color I wanted for a while. It finally came in. It's very cool I love the way it attaches the only thing is. You can't comfortably wear any kind of ear protection. If that is something you are not concerned about its a great mask and set up if you want a solid helmet and mask combo.

"Do not get this mask if you intend to mount it on a helmet instead of using it just as a mask. The tiny screws holding the strap in place do not come out, even with a power tool. Wasn't able to actually use the mask because of that.

"Would not recommend if you plan on changing the visor or using the helmet mounts, I tried to remove the tiny screws that holds the visor in and they where impossible to remove and eventually stripped before I even got to use it. I was very disappointed and am going to have to buy another one knowing that I wasted my money on this.

"Pretty decent mask but all three of my lenses arrived with the same defect in them: A slight deformation in the mold (that appears as slight striations in the lens material), which causes distortion in the most important area of your view. All three of my lenses had this problem. Not only that, but when this mask is paired with the proper helmet, it has a tendency to press against the plastic buckle and be incredibly uncomfortable.
Overall this mask is pretty okay. Definitely not the worst but it's far less than usable for me because of the messed up spot right in the center of my vision.

"There is a significant amount of optical distortion, also the foam falls off too easily.
