"I own 2 of these gun's and 8 mags all c02. In 4 years only one leak in a mag and 0 failures in the gun. I was so impressed by the power and performance I bought a second to replace my Elite force g17 I was having so much trouble with.

"Some gave me the FLUX P320 M17, so I ordered the CO2 mag. It works good and match.
Never attempt to remove the base ( butt) cover to load CO2. I almost mess up the load (feed) spring. Load the CO2 butt down first and tighten it. It works good.

"Honestly, I had pretty bad luck with GBB Pistols, but against all odds, this magazine somehow worked the best for me. At first, I thought it was the gun that was faulty, but in reality, I have to take care of the magazines for this gun like a baby, or else something will fly off somewhere. To the problem of where the gun only shoots every other shot, all you have to do to the magazine is to purge some gas, and it works just fine. My only gripe for the magazines for this wonderful replica is the purging problem, but that’s really all… I can get off 2.5 magazines from one C02 Canister after purging gas from the magazine for ~1 Mississippi.

Pros:
- Somewhat solid construction.
- Good consistency (In my opinion… Thankfully, CO2 is relatively cheap at my local Walmart.)
Cons:
- Cheap base construction, definitely recommend wrapping the back of the magazine base in some sort of tape.
- Purging problem.

"Full disclosure I have only bought the green gas mags.
I really love this gun, but the mags have an issue where if the spring is pulled all the way down to load bbs and then released, the force of the spring on the plastic tip will snap it right off and send it flying about 30 ft. If the tip on the spring were just a little easier to keep hold of, it wouldn't really be a problem...

One thing I do really love about these Sig mags are - due to lack of experience with airsoft handguns, imp not sure if this is generally applicable to most handguns - interchangeable, and both the GG and CO2 mags will fit into the M17's mag well and function properly.

"I bought 2 of these. Broke one of the mags by pulling the spring down and letting go. Low quality on the tip.

"As with previous reviews the main issue with the CO2 mags is that they are made relatively cheap. The Base cover is made of a cheap and brittle plastic that has an extremely small lip to clip it into the mag, which breaks from even small falls onto hard surfaces. I had one pop off just from a 12 inch drop onto my desk doing dry reloads when i first got the replica. The other problem is the spring, which can break the feeding lips under the force of the spring. its good to practice only holding it part way down while reloading and slide it down more as needed. another fix can be to shorten the spring by ~.5" to .75" and more as necessary.

"So far I'm a little disappointed with these magazines... love the handgun but the mags really get on my nerves. First day out on the field I was loading one, when the spring slipped out of the grip of my thumb nail. Instead of just pulling it back and trying again, I never got the chance because the pressure of the spring coming up snapped off the feed lip of the magazine, and sent it flying across the field...so far I cant find any replacement parts so my co2 mag is now a paperweight after only a few uses. When it was working, It was great. No feeding issues and no problems with leaking.

"This magazine is very strange. I both love and hate it. Its functionality is great. Its very nice to slip the CO2 in the back without having to remove anything to do it. It also has a nice finish on it that hasn't scraped much so far. However, the base plate is a very cheap plastic that breaks easily if you drop it on a hard surface. I very strongly recommend putting a small strip of duct tape across the back to hold the base in place. Even if its not broken. What happened to me is the little plastic teeth that snap it in place break. And if that base plate shifts even a little then the part that holds the spring in place will move and the spring will get tangled in it.

I also agree with the other review that says the spring is too strong for its own good. Its not a terrible idea to cut a little bit of it off.

"Obviously, if you have the Sig Sauer Proforce M17 you'll need to buy this magazine anyways, but here are my thoughts on it.

Pros:
-Holds most, if not all bbs that are originally loaded into it (More detail under Cons)
-Very easy to insert CO2 cartridges with little force
-Aesthetically appealing
-Removable baseplate allows for the removal of the follower spring

Cons:
-Magazine broke before 200 shots. While holding the follower down to load bbs, I accidentally released it and it hit the feed lip so hard that it broke the feed lip in half and flew across the room
-There are no replacement parts as of the making of this review, due to this being a propriety product
-Magazine contains extremely strong spring. I suggest that you remove the baseplate and trim the spring as it is far too powerful for the magazine.
-The feed lips contain a slight opening in the top that is a malfunction waiting to happen. The top of the feed lips are in line with the follower and spring. After a magazine is loaded and the follower is released, bbs will sometimes shoot out of the top of the opening in the feed lips

"Was hoping the issues noted in various reviews on the C02 Mag would have been address by now. Unfortunately not so with the C02 Mag I received from Envike.com.

Having same issues noted in reviews at Sig Sauer site for Proforce M17 Airsoft Pistol/ C02 Mag, and for the M17 C02 Mag sold separately.

There are times when every other shot a dud—no BB fired, and if you point the gun barrel down round BB rolls out of the barrel. I applied several drops of Silicone oil to a cotton swab to apply a light coating of oil to the mag channel for BB's to if it would help with feeding; it helped a little but still had shots without BB's.

Compared to using the Green Gas Mag I have, target accuracy not as consistent with the C02 Mag.

Also unlike with the Green Gas Mag, with the C02 Mag after firing the the last BB it nevers locks itself in the empty position.

For overall operation would rate the C02 Mag I have a 2.5 out of 5; and rate the Green Gas Mag 5 out of 5.
