ASG Steel Spring Guide with Bearings for Scorpio EVO 3A1

"I generally like bearing spring guides. I can't say I noticed a huge jump in FPS consistency or anything, but it's a small thing for general gearbox longevity. Worthwhile upgrade.

"I don't notice a difference, but I bet my spring does. This bb spring guide is a total no brainer must have for the spring. My stock spring guide tabs broke off in the spring well causing my gun to lock up. I took it out and found the piece inside it.

"My gun came with a metal guide, so maybe this isn’t necessary. It seems to make my gun shoot a bit hot, which can be a challenge when trying to pass chrono. Not sure if the bearing makes a difference or not. The Scorpion Evo shoots well out of the box.

"I added this because some other reviewers reported that the stock part it replaces was plastic. My gun had a metal part to begin with, so the upgrade might not be necessary. However, maybe the bearing on this one (which my stock piece didn’t have) makes a difference.
