JAG Arms Large Capacity Adjustable Stock for M4/M16 Series Airsoft Rifles- Black

"To start off this review, I'm gonna say that this is the undoubtedly the best airsoft stock for the money, I would even pay $30+ for this stock. It feels good, is well made and looks great.
Best of all, the stock is really a LARGE CAPACITY stock. I know that some reviews talk about the two side tubes being squared off on the inside so that their standard crane-stock style batteries don't fit, this I partially true, my standard crane-stock battery won't fit in the sides, (only a square lipo style butterfly battery will fit in the sides, its sticks have to be less than about 17mm by 10mm.) but the battery sticks will fit when put next to each other vertically in the back compartment. this back compartment also can hold my brick style batteries comfortably up to about a 117mm by 33mm by 15mm brick type battery. I use the buffer tube space to store my extra wires and mosfet. The switch system on the back to open the stock is stiff at first but will break in.
Now, as much as I love this stock, there are some problems. The back plate has some left-right wiggle room (maybe 1mm). The back plate also is well textured, but not rubberized. The most major problem that I see with this rifle stock is that, out of the box, it has too much room and will not lock into place. This is most likely the reason that this stock is so cheap. It's a simple fix though. All you have to do is repeatedly layer tape on the top of the buffer tube, after about 3 minutes of this, the stock now holds steady under intense pressure.
I love this stock and I'm glad that I purchased it. I would strongly recommend this to anyone that wants a good, inexpensive stock that just requires a little work to perfect, then, will last you for years.

PROS:
Good looking
LARGE CAPACITY
comfortable
inexpensive
feels high-quality

CONS:
Won't hold position naturally
Slightly tough to open the back hatch
non-rubberized butt plate.

OVERVIEW: This stock is great. Most of its problems can be fixed with 5 minutes of work (repeatedly switching the backplate switch, layering some tape on the buffer tube, etc.)

"I bought 3 of these already for Various stock replacements. Light weight and stores a decent size battery. Decent price for what you get. Only con is the Adjustment jumps loose on some buffer tubes. Simple fix on one I had an issue on.

"I recently bought this and I am very happy with it. It fit perfect on my Lancer Tactical and can fit a knuchuck style battery.

"I first came across this product on Jag Precisions website. It showcased the shot fitting E1's 2650mAH 11.1 LiPo battery. Now I don't know if I believe that battery will fit, I can say my 1800mAH 65C 7.4 LiPo definitely fits that I use on my 416 DSG.

As the other reviewers are saying, I did get my stock to slip once. But honestly after a significant amount of force was applied. I won't ever be shouldering my gun that hard so I am not too bothered by it. It also has a JG level of quality to the plastic. No fancy G&G quality polymer, just ABS. But fortunately, mine had no seam lines.

The back plate comes off remarkably easily as well. I am definitely going to buy another. Especially at this price point.

"Great build and stores batteries extremely well. Zero batter wiggle! The stock is very picky as to what buffer tube it will lock in place well. I use it on my G&G Raider and its amazing! Nun-chuck 9.6v will fit, but you must fit it into the butt plate (Not your average crane stock). Easy access to the release button and slides on and off easy. I've used it indoor and outdoors and I've had no damage or issues. I also love the twist and lock mechanism so it holds the battery nice and firm. Mind you, you're spending $15 for a stock, so dont expect wonders, but it is definitely worth it.

"I got this as a replacement to the crane stock from my full metal G&G combat machine. The crane stock locking pin broke and sheared out. had to play so many games with it held together with wire.

pros: very cheap compared to other options. Its only 15$ compared to 30-50 for just a simple crane stock replacement. I might as well buy a boneyard gun for that price.
The battery capacity is incredible. I can fit an 11.1V 2200MAH LIPO brick, the kind used in quadcopters, in the butt compartment. That is honestly the best solution ive found so far. No battery pouch with wires hanging out. no battery box. and no small size battery capacity. I get big voltage and big capacity. and the gun is balanced and slim.
I really like the look of this stock. its similar to the magpull style...kind of...but at a fifth the price.
The polymer seems just as good as what i had before. pretty thick plastic. no creaking or flexing.

Cons: it was too loose. a small amount of force apploed caused the stock locking pin to jump and it would completely close. or a small amount of force pulled would cause it to open all the way. putting it into my shoulder caused it to collapse.
it was too tight. I tried it on my elite force CQB m4 and it was way too tight. i got it on, just barely. but i could only move its position by jamming my foot on the pistol grip. I almost couldn't get it back off. meanwhile before my crane stock broke. it fit snugly on both guns. and the crane stock from the cqb fit snugly on both guns. So it has to be the jag arms stock that is not a correct shape. or the locking pins dont extend up enough,

Ultimately i shimmed it with the buffer tube on my combat machine, using strips of paper. Now it fits just right. its real snug. but i can move it to any locking position.

Because of the capacity and price. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a replacement to a broken stock.

"Felt really cheap and the locking didn’t work after a few times

"Stock doesn’t lock into buffer tube I need a way to fix this

"I installed this stock on a G&G fighting cat. I do not recommend this stock for metal buffer tubes. This stock would not lock into any position on my gun. I got it to stay locked by removing the piece you press to adjust it. I left the pin inside its original place and taped it down for security. It looks cool and has a big battery space. Mine is considered a fixed stock now unless I undo the tape and pull from the pin to adjust the position.

There was wobble but 1 piece of electrical tape fixed it. I’ve been using tamiya butterfly batteries 9.6v nimh.

"I'm on the fence with this stock for two reasons

Pros;
Lots of battery space, can fit two stick/buffer tube lipos and a smaller brick if you needed all at once.

Cons;
Maybe just my buffer tube, but it doesn't lock into place correctly, with enough pressure the stock will jump from say the 5th spot back down to the first. My fix for this was a zip tie covered in electrical tape but it is unsightly.

Overall, not terrible, but not great.

"i bought this for the same reason as the guy in the review below me. and i have the same problem as him too. This stock DOES NOT fit regular NiMh butterfly type batteries (Although it might fit a small LIPO butterfly type as the slots in the stock are square like the LIPO types). This stock is also extremely wobbly on the buffer tube on my AK. (Full metal tube). Overall... I wouldn't buy this stock ever again

"I bought this because it said that it has a large space for a variety. It however does not. I cant even fit my 9.6 nunchuck batteries in the stock. it has to be all the way extended to work. how ever it is perfect for buffer tube type batteries.
