"Absolutely solid tacticool poncho. Material is reasonably robust with good quality manufacturing, atlhough I think it's got a bit too much velcro for the cost.

Let's get one thing clear, anyone looking at this is almost certainly getting for the cool factor, and that's 100% valid. It's expensive compared to a regular poncho and it isn't even 100% water resistant - but I actually consider that a plus.

It'll handle mild wet weather without any issues, but in dryer weather it's going to be much more breathable than pure water resistant gear and it's actually VERY comfortable. You can wear this in the fall without wanting to keel over while still being mildly insulating for colder weather. Still, I wouldn't wear this in anything even resembling warmer weather with kit unless you're willing to sweat.

There's lots of room and flexibility to play with the fabric, as shown in the pictures, as you can toss it over half your PC or chest rig and just let it sit there with no issues and look decent. It's got ample space for an average height and weight person that's a bit more legs and arms. Better yet, it even has clasps so you can keep part of it connected as needed and keep the form how you want in certain ways. Mega bonus points there.

Make no mistake , you're not going to look amazing at every angle because at the end of the day a poncho is a bunch of fabric/material draped over you and your bulky kit, but nothing ever does - though this is definitely up there for ponchos.

For a hefty premium you get looks, breathability, and reasonable practicality.

"I bought this poncho a while back before I ever started airsofting and while I didn't make the purchase through Evike, I still thought my experience could be of value to someone else considering this poncho for their loadout.

First thing is first: this poncho is NOT waterproof. it is only water RESISTANT and both you and your gear will be soaked if you're planning on using this in heavy rain or extended periods spent in rain. you can solve a lot of these issues with water repellant sprays if you know you're going to need to run this in wet weather.

With that out of the way, this ponchos build quality is actually amazing. I've owned it for at least two years now and have taken it through mostly sand and dirt on several occasions while camping and more recently airsoft and it still looks like the day I bought it. The materials used are super high quality and it is incredibly easy to store because it folds into its own front pouch. though, during use, this pouch can also be useful for storing other things (I've actually used it as a spare/secondary dump pouch on the field). It can also be used as a tarp and has clips around the edge so you can button it down.

Obviously a big selling point for this thing is appearance, and I've gotten plenty of compliments on the styling of it. It has spots for any patches that you might want to show off and it will look really well if you're running a tactical loadout.

Overall, It's pricey and I REALLY wish it was waterproof but at least the quality of the materials used is actually really high. while this poncho is definitely not indestructible, it can withstand a fair share of torture and I think that that can justify the price tag for some people.
