"I’ll give this gun a five star review
That’s right.
5 whole stars.
This gun, while looks plastic I’ve heard, is full metal and is louD.
That’s not a typo. It’s LouD.
Best part? It’s green gas. And that can be converted to HPA with the right adapter(which can be found on this site).
The ONLY problem that I’ve had with this gun wasn’t he gun, but the magazine that came with it. Be smart, always buy a spare magazine for your GBBs of ANY kind. Accuracy wise, it’s a pistol. You don’t need a sniper, but I wouldn’t say it’s a precision pistol.
Pros:
The look(Ohh)
The feel(Ahh)
The kick(Oof)
The consistency(Under the right conditions)

Cons:
The mag(the one that came with the gun at least)
The cost of mags(42 bucks, double oof)
Accuracy(It’s eh)

After that, it’s not too bad. I’ll follow up with it converted to HPA.

"I am honored to have this gun as my first green gas blowback gun.
FYI for those who don't know and think the barrel is wobbly it's not. It's just a reciprocating barrel.
Pros:
I spent over 120 seconds of propane in one mag gas fill. Maybe not gas efficient just takes awhile to get it in
Pretty accurate
Noticeable recoil
kinda loud but maybe that's a common gas gun thing?

Cons:

I plan to have games with this gun. I like it.

"Just received my pistol, the W.E. Tech WWII full metal gas blowback airsoft pistol and I must admit that this is one of the finest automatic airsoft weapons I have in my collection. Love the chrome "Bling" it has going for it, right down to it's magazine. It functioned flawlessly through all types of fire. I don't skirmish, but do shoot target style as much as weather permits, and in the east coast it's a little chilly and this gun did not act up one solid time. I'm also happy with Evikes price of this gun, I put off buying this gun for many months, now I'm happy I made the move and secured one. I owned an original 9mm Hi-Power and this is very reminiscent of the original.

"I bought this for my dad about 6 months ago because the Browning Hi-Power 9mm was his favorite gun back in his cop days, so I decided to give him a blast from the past. He absolutely loves it. He tells me it feels like the real thing, and takes apart like it too. He has had no problems with it and we love to shoot together. Also, it is SO accurate. It's awesome. But it is honestly more of a plinking gun than a gun you would use in a game.

Pros:
Very Realistic
Nice power
Not a huge gas hog

Cons:
Orange painted directly on the gun (No tip)
No Hop-up adjust

To summarize: A great, realistic feeling gun, which is a great target shooter, but because there is no hop-up it can't really be used in a game.

"The WE Hi Power is possibly the best GBB gun for the price! True to the Original in every aspect.
It wont ja on you when you need it. You may actutally prefer it over a WE 1911! Definatly worth buying.
I imagine the Chrome model is just as good, but I prefer the original Blueing. The Hi-Power or P35 was famous for being used by Amercian, Canadian, British, and Nazi forces during WWII so it will fit right in with whatever primary you use! (Thompson, Sten, MP40, ect)

Pros:
About 4 magazines will shoot when mag is full of gas
Faux wood grips are realistic and comfortable
Uber lifelike
Nice strong trigger pull
Accurate as a CO2 pellet gun (from some testing I did)
Good Wieght
Fantastic Sights
Good Metal/Well built

Cons:
The barrel has some scratches on it from the slide going back and forth but it isnt too noticable and it doesnt affect the gun.
Safety is awkward.

"I received this pistol in the box of awesomeness for $65. Right out of the box, the pistol functioned perfectly. The nickel plating is done extremely well, no blemishes or rough edges. The wood grips leave a little to be desired but is close. The overall weight is less than I expected, which is a good thing. The rear sight travels and elevates, it seems to be pretty solid.

I took it to the field the same week that I got it and it didn't disappoint. It lacks an adjustable hop-up, which I thought was going to be the deal-breaker. However, this thing shoots so straight that it's hard to think it has no hop-up. The action of the slide reminds me of shooting a .22 pistol, the recoil is light but you can tell it's moving. About 15 people went nuts over this thing when they saw me using it. The Mag is also 'shiny'. FPS was low to mid 300's

Pros-
Detailed.
Flashy, Attention Getter
Nice Action
Mag holds more gas than BB's
Weight
Accurate with no hop-up
Zero break in period

Cons-
Orange tip is long enough to be threaded (isn't)
Wood could be more convincing
the "Made in" sticker leaves a smear that you have to polish off the finish

"i love this gun got it with box of awesomeness

im very pleased with this gun

"Let me start off with, wI love Hi-powers. They're one of my favorite pistols and my favorite of the wonder 9s. When I got this i was extremely excited, and saved it for last of my package of barrel attachments(sadly its not threaded so I couldn't put any on the actual pistol itsself). I opened up the box it came in and saw that it had a made in china sticker and a warning sticker on the slide. I removed them but they left a big of residue behind. Nonetheless its full metal and faux wood grips, although i may get real wood grips if they fit. Now heres the kick in the shin. It's not c02. I put my differences aside being a cult follower of c02 and hating greengas, but I put some green gas in the magazines and shot it. It actually felt really good, the slide is light but knocks back pretty great. Then the magazine that came with the box puffed out straight gas in a whopping thwom out the barrel. Not a malfunction per se, but still I was like oh ok. So i stuffed more gas in there and sure enough it was fine again. So then I had an idea. WHy worry about running out of gas per magazine when i have a whole bottle of greengas at my disposal? So I stuck it to the magazine and now I'm about to go to my first airsoft match with a hi-power with a tank of gas sticking out of the bottom. 4/5 would buy another mag

"Kind of disappointed, actually. It FEELS like plastic, but it definitely IS metal. I own a couple WE 1911s, and they feel like their real steel counterparts; they're heavy(ish), and feel very solid. This pistol, on the other hand feels like a toy. I just keep looking for seam lines.

I DO like the grips. Matter of fact, I love the grips. They look very much like real wood, and that's a very fine detail that greatly appreciate; especially with a pistol like this.

Overall, I'd recommend picking it up mostly if you're reenacting or using it for some kind of costume. While I'm sure it's a great gun for games, it just seems like something you'd want as a collectors piece.

"I have a first gen and the mag leaks unfortunately. However the plastic grips do in fact fit an actual Browning high power. I own a later production model and decided to test it out as the WE reproduction is touted as being a highly accurate reproduction. It is, even down to the grip shape clearly.

"I bought this gun a while ago and i was very happy when it arrived. The finish is a very plain metal but well done chrome with plastic grips. The gun has no markings unlike the Tanaka version. The weight is balanced when there is no mag in, but the it becomes back-heavy when inserted. I've had very good results when firing this and it DOES have an adjustable hop up. The only problem I have had with this gun is the design that enables it to shoot. The magazine plays a big role in the hi power's funtion like on the real steel. The magazine must be inserted to release the hammer. The next part isn't so much the gun, but the mags are poorly designed. A springy metal piece that is used to help the magzine safety (hammer not releasing without mag) is INCREDIBLY fragile. Without this piece, the gun can barely function. I noticed it one day when one of my mags was malfunctioning. Then the other mag started doing it. After remembering Evike has their 100% parts support for WE products, i decided to take a look and see if they had spares. No luck. Then I looked everywhere else. Not one mention of it. Now i could just blow another $30 on another mag for this gun and have the same results, or i could get parts for a fraction of the price. Sadly, they are non existant.

Pros:
Nice weight
Chrome work
Accurate
Cheaper than the Tanaka (comes at a price though)

Cons
Design of mags

This may be a little bit of a read, but i hope it was informative.

"*THERE IS* a hop-up adjustment, it's a little hole inside of the piece that holds the spring inside of the slide. There are two holes, one of which is slightly bigger, it is **closest** to the spring.

Pros: Best replica of any gun I've seen so far; (for its date at least) perfectly weighted, awesome metal, orange tip is metal and doesn't look like crap, etc.

Cons: WE's reputation for gas guzzlers and fake wood grips.
However neither of these issues concern me.

Once I discovered there was a hop up I had to get it and I'm soo glad to have it. Certainly the coolest airsoft gun that I've ever fired.
