APS Buffer Tube Conversion for AK Series Airsoft AEG to Use M4 Retractable Stocks

"Got this for my Cyma AKM. I did have to modify it by cutting of part of the rear body end of the adaper and then filling down the sling mount as well. Also the buffer tube is solid plastic. So I had to wire my gun to the front. Other than that it now fits nice and snug. Seems sturdy for being plastic. Looks great now on my AKM.

Strong plastic material
Does not woble if modded correctly

Cons
Plastic instead of metal
Buffer tube is sold plastic - won't hold a battery in it
Had to modify it to make it work

"Yeah so this adapter fits to echo1, cyma, and e&l full stock style aks. The sling point can be moved to either side. Fitted the adapter to my e&l gen 2 after alot of dremmeling. Problem is the stock bends since it's polymer, so I don't run it due to the possibility of the stock breaking.

-fits to cyma style full stock also

Cons:
-stock bends

"Great build quality... but only if it fit. Like another reviewer mentioned some modding- i had to mod mine to fit as well. other than that i was able to make it fit snug. I recommend this to experienced craftsmen who don't mind messing with this to make this fit.

"This item does not fit on a Tokyo Marui AK-47.

Pros:
1. Sturdy construction (polymer)
2. Comes with a ring to hook on a sling.

Cons:
1. Sealed/closed buffer tube, meaning you will not be able to wire a battery to the back of the AEG.
2. Will not fit on a TM AK-47 without extensive grinding to the receiver AND the conversion kit itself.

Overall it was a hit or miss with this item. I gave it three stars because of the sturdy build quality. Will be requesting an RMA# from Evike for this item.
