I found that this is not an AEG cut barrel or I installed it improperly, but when I put this barrel with the stock hopup it works wonderful and boosts the fps and accuracy, so hey, it works!

"This barrel will fit perfectly in all Type 96 sniper rifles. I have put this barrel into my Shadow Ops Type 96 and it fit perfectly. The increase in performance was instant and dramatic. No pop can was safe in my back yard and I was consistently hitting the center of a medium sized tree in my neighbors back yard about 75 YARDS away. The fps jumped to just shy of 500 with .20s. With .28s the gun is shooting about 450 fps. The accuracy is fanblazingtastic!!! I could not believe that an airsoft gun could be capable of such pinpoint perfection. The tree I was aiming at was about the size of a heavy set person but even the 90 lb. twigs that I play with would have to run or be hit. You could spend more on a 6.01 barrel but I don't think that you would be happy with it. You do have to keep your gun clean with a tightbore but with the Type 96 that is easy.

If you do not have a Type 96 this won't be a problem and there are no cons

"This barrel fits perfectly in my MB-01 l96 sniper, it made all the difference with accuracy along with changing the hop up. One issue though is the line to put on a premade bucking is reversed to any barrel I've used, it doesn't seem to be an issue though as I'm still getting that accuracy boost. But it would be great to know what bucking this uses.
