"Bought in March 2024, shot 7,500-10,000 rounds out of it without changing anything except the bucking and nub a few times.

I wanted a short barreled ebr and I got an exactly a short barreled ebr, 5/5! Ok I'm biased so don't let me hype it up too much.

I had to return it because an 11.1v damaged it somehow. The replacement worked out of the box with a 7.4v lipo and both it and the 7.4 are working perfectly to this day.

Classic army M14 style replicas are only compatible with Classic Army and G&G M14 mags. Evike stocked some shortly after restocking the classic army ebrs saving me the hassle of importing like I had to do for a different replica. Using the 180 round classic army midcaps fully loaded seems to cause friction on the nozzle and causes fps issues for the first 20 or so shots. Remedied by filling the mag only most of the way. Still acceptable value for the price of the mags.

Some screws around the gun vibrate loose over time. The stock on mine doesn't snap completely closed because the locking cuts are several mm too far down the rods. However the friction fit in the most compact position is extremely tight and has never worn down. Considering that technically all adjustable positions work i won't count that as anything more than a benign qc check.

Other issues I had include
-rear scope mount is loose and you can't tighten it because it's only being held by a grub screw. I cut and added a small layer of tape underneath as a shim.
It's also very tedious to align a scope onto properly, I haven't even done it myself yet so a dmr/sniper I cannot use it as of yet
The front sight screw came loose and I dropped it as I was removing a barrel cover
The outer barrel mounting is held on by screws that came loose over time
Screws in the stock came loose, but that's not an issue as the locking cuts in the stock will prevent the stock from falling off during use
Muzzle device was GLUED on painfully well but came off afterwards by twisting clockwise. Recommend removing barrel from replica before attacking that thing or you may damage the alignment lugs on the outer barrel or receiver

Fps at the store was ~369 fps on a 0.2 and still shoots ~1.3j consistently. Stock motor says classic army 25k high torque.
This ebr is apparently a clone of the G&G rather than the TM or cyma type m14s so if you want parts for it research those brands' m14s specifically as some parts may vary. When I bought it it was the price midpoint between other brands' and that was its main appeal for me as well as being a better supported platform for upgrades.

It's not a dmr out of the box, it performs on par with sub $200 guns until you change the bucking and nub, where it will perform on par with those sub $200 guns that have also had their bucking and nub changed. It's a style replica is my point and it's quite tiring to lug around on the field. If you want a high performer aeg maybe try an sr25. If you just like the looks of the ebr and accept that it's not going to be the dominating replica on the field you'll like this one.

I give it a 4/5 for performance as nothing has ever gone catastrophically wrong with the (replacement) replica.
5/5 for being an ebr and looking and feeling cool. Maybe -1 for being a pain in the rear to disassemble and then reassemble but that's not the company's fault that's just a ebr thing. If you have a magnetic tray and metric hex key set sized from 1.5-7mm handy and you'll be fine, just don't punch the wires putting it back together because it **will** strip the insulation and risk a short, I promise.
