APS 8mm Ver.2 Hybrid Gearbox Shell w/ Spring Guide

"Out of the box, I am quiet pleased with the product.

Now, I bought this with the intention of using it in an A&K Masada/ACR.

This gear box is completely compatible and allows for the use of Selector gear and Axle. The Top has been milled down as well so you can run wires over the box if you intend too. There are only a few things you need to keep in mind. The 8mm shims will require a modification to the selector plate, or the right M4 plate to be purchased.

There is a small tang on to top of the box where the seems meet that may need to be filed down however, it does, in no way this compromise the box.

The extra spring powered slide catch arm will have to be removed, however this also doesn't hinder the boxes use in the A&K Masada/ACR.

It's well manufactured, and provides support internally for gears. So that they don't collide with each other which is excellent in High speed and torque applications. An Excellent Buy, that has a fair price, and IMO should be worth more!

"This is a good gearbox especially for the price. You get the gearbox,spring guide, screws, 8mm steel bushings.
i bought this gearbox for my "SR-47 Guardian edition" (custom made). it is the best gearbox super easy to work just don't do what i did the first couple times. (forgot to put the spring in).
i feel this gearbox is pretty durable and will last me quite some time. their are also no proprietary parts like the older models.
