"I sent in my ASG scorpion and it came back shooting great! I would definitely recommend this service to people who do not feel comfortable working on their own airsoft guns. 10/10 service

"I needed to get my G&G GR-25 fixed (trigger jammed, needed new motor, etc.) but with Airsoft GI and Evike being my only option I was scared. Especially seeing a bunch of questions being posted as "reviews," but what made me choose Evike tech service over Airsoft GI was definitely the response time. Big shoutouts to Evike's Kail for responding fast and forwarding my inquires to Evike's tech James! With James, he made me feel assured that he and the team can definitely fix my airsoft gun and even answered my additional questions that I had.

Since there aren't many reviews here about this service, I'm going to explain how this works to help any other individuals out there who may feel a little nervous about using this as I had. To begin, before purchasing the service it is HIGHLY recommended to call them and speak to a representative. Shoutouts to William for guiding me through the service over the phone and a lady who I unfortunately forgot the name of (I'm so sorry I forgot the your name, but thank you both seriously!)

Next, ask about the repair service and they will help you from there on. After purchasing the service with them, you will also then purchase a UPS ground shipping, this is so they can send the gun back to you after they finish repairing it. At this point, you will then wait an hour or two to receive instructions in your email on how to send your airsoft gun to them.

Afterwards, pack your gun in a box and write out the RMA number on top of the box clearly. Finally, send your airsoft gun to their address using UPS or Fedex. For me, I decided to ship out my gun using Fedex simply because it was closer to my work location. From there on, the patience game begins as you'll wait and receive various emails from Evike throughout the week saying that they received your gun, have begun repairing it, and so on.

Two weeks later, my GR-25 arrived and I was damn happy to have it back in working condition!! Not only did they fixed what I wanted them to fix but also did a maintenance check up on it. For example, they did a hopup inspection, function/external check, accuracy test, etc. They even recommended me parts to purchase if I ever wanted to further upgrade it! Big thanks to the technician Carlo C. for fixing my GR-25 (and even fixing the bolt catch function!!) :D

Will definitely use this service again if I ever run into any other problems! Thank you so much!!! :)

"Fantastic service. I ordered a Cyma m4 commando and had them replace the entire piston and cylinder assembly, spring guide, shims, bearings, barrel, hop up chamber, and hop up bucking. All this only cost one hour of service, and they did a great job. They also put the stock parts in bags and shipped them with the upgraded gun. A great deal for anyone without the tech skills or time to upgrade themselves.

"Okay so I have a lancer tactical fal and the connector wires fried and i tried fixing it myself but i didnt want to get into the gear box and motor so i left it alone the gun is taken apart right now how much would it cost me to get the wire replaced and put the gun back together i just took off the barrel and dust cover that is easy to put back on

"I have a kwa a m9 ptp gas pistol. It fell out of my holster and in to sand. After washing it out, it still wouldn't cycle. If I buy the springs it needs from the kwa site will evike install them for me. One spring is for the trigger, which is a easy fix. But the second spring is in the frame that controls the gas valve sear. Thanks for always going up and beyond customer service.

"I have an AGM M4 that I opened up to downgrade the spring and now it doesn't shoot. Can you fix it

"I have an ARES Tar-21 and was wondering you guys could put in a new bucking, cylinder, cylinder head, air nozzle, piston, and piston head.

"Dear Webmaster,
I have an bravo RDW that i opened up cause it didn't shoot at all when pull of trigger with full battery. I don't know how to put the gun back together and was wondering if this labor could fix the problem and put the gun together...i also put a new echo 1 high torque motor in so maybe that did it.

Evike Tech: Yup! If you didn't loose or break any parts, we can definitely put it back easily for you. We go thru hundreds of RDW from QC, testing to repair every month for the Airsoft industry.

"I have a little bit of a problem, but first, heres some background info.

I am currently running a G&G GR16 A3 with a Matrix M160 Gearbox. However, I also put a 550mm JBU 6.01 tight bore in it. That seems to be the problem. I have been experiencing the "suck-back" effect and the way I figure it, it's because the gearbox is normally meant for an M4 base gun. A normal length M4 carbine would have somewhere in the 360's (or close to it) for barrel length. I have almost 8 inches over that.

So my question is this - if I were to send in my gearbox, would you guys at Evike be able to install a Bore-Up kit in it..? I'm thinking of going with the Element M16 Bore-Up Cylinder Set, jus tto get the extra "oomf" out of it, but am open to any suggestions.

WEbmasteR: of course!

Anything is repairable. pride ourselves to be the only USA shop to have all the parts to all the guns we sell. (At least we try and we are 99% more complete than any other garage sellers) You can special order that pdw stock part with us if you want.

"i have a question would they fix my m249 if i didn't know what was wrong with it

Webmaster : Of course, we don't claim we have the best tech in the country randomly like other retailers, we DO.

Why? Because our tech works for and thus they have more experience in working with guns than all the other small retailers can ever accumulate. They also get factory direct support which means info no others have.

"I purchased three hours of custom tech service to make a custom high trigger response build. The techs work with the EPS team (Evike Performance Shop) to ensure I had a viable build. The service itself at best is 3 stars or lower. Communication was a huge issue for me. If you get this service, make sure to unmark [email protected] as not spam as some email providers mark it as spam including mine. I use Hotmail and I never received the first few emails from the tech which caused my order to be cancelled and ultimately delayed for at least a week as I had to reorder everything. I feel like the tech team should have emailed me using a different email address or called me after a couple of days of no reply. Another issue I had was the tech department can’t swap out parts in your build if they are not compatible only the sales department can do that. Sales got my order wrong a couple of times even after the tech department wrote notes on what to exactly swap out which caused further delays on my build. Granted that this is a sales department issue and not a tech issue, but I feel communication could have been a little bit better between the two departments. I ordered this build on Feb 5th and it arrived on February 27th. A little over 3 weeks later!

Furthermore, I was given questionable advice and recommendations. I was told that the parts I ordered had a too high ROF for any magazine to feed however there are plenty of videos on YouTube where people are running DSGs and Polar Stars with ROFs of 40+ and having little to no feeding issues. On my build, I had an Action Army highspeed 75k motor and Prometheus 13:1 highspeed gears but I had to exchange them for an Action Army 45k motor and Prometheus 18:1 standard gears. I was also told the current piston head I have was creating too much drag which to me sounds like my gun would have a low ROF since it can’t cycle as fast? I was also told that having low ratio gears and a highspeed motor would not even pull a spring rated for 350fps. I thought this was odd as I have friends and read on forums that this was possible. Especially if the motor I'm getting is $75 and has neodymium magnets. This is why I was recommended the 18:1 gear set, however the gun I bought already came with 18:1 gears so I didn't see why I had to get the expensive Prometheus 18:1 gears. The tech told me it was because they were more durable and sounded better however after comparing the stock Krytac gears and Prometheus gears they were both made from CNC heat-treated steel, so I don't see how they are more durable. I bought them anyway as I'm not a tech, so I just assumed they knew better.

It seems the techs at Evike favor reliability over performance and that's why they wanted to lower the performance of my gun in favor of increasing reliability and longevity which is alright by me because I also highly value reliability. However, this was not the case at all. I took it out for the following weekend to play and it broke on me towards the end of the day. I could not have my local tech work on it as it would void the 45 day warranty, so I had to send it back for a RMA request which took roughly took 1 week to get done and shipping took two weeks in total. That doesn’t include the 1 week it took discussing the RMA with [email protected] It is now March 24th and I just received my gun back. I just tested my gun and it seems to be working well and the performance matches what was said on the test sheet they gave me. They told me they replaced my bucking, gears and tappet plate but did not specify if it were the same upgraded parts I ordered with the gun. These replacements were free of charge. I will have to call in or email Evike to see if the same parts. Also the warranty sticker on the gearbox was broken and not replaced so if it breaks again and I have to send it back, it looks like I tinkered with the gearbox and it could potentially void my warranty. I am probably rating the service a lot higher than it should be rated but there is always the possibility that it could have been a manufacturing issue with the parts I ordered and I would hate to dock points for something outside the techs control.
