Dye i5 Pro Airsoft Full Face Mask (Style: SMOKED)

"I’d honestly say the dye i5 is the best mask on the market for airsoft.This is the only mask that doesn’t fog up during games no matter how much u breathe or sweat.The head strap on the back makes it a perfect fit every time and it’s very easy to change the lenses, the only problem I had is how easy the lens gets dented from bbs hitting it but at least it protects you and you can’t see the marks that are on the outside inside the mask.

"Beyond happy with this purchase, of course its expensive but it lasts (basically) forever. You can buy new lenses to replace the old one for $40 which is super nice. The only problem is that I bought the emerald and they don't sell individual lenses like most other colors.

However, the mask NEVER fogs which isn't the case with some other anti-fog masks and sprays. It looks awesome and I customized my whole kit to match it, so much fun and definitely draws attention. compact fit, with my stubby stock I still can't use an optic with anything less than a 2 1/2" riser, thats a bit tough but others have made it work with less. a bit difficult to take the pieces apart but you get the hang of it. when you first get it don't stress about the darkness, theres a protective sealant layer you have to take off. Enjoy!

"Amazing mask, no fogging at all. Played in 95% humidity while it was lightly raining. This mask is comfortable, seamless, and overall worth the money.

"Awesome mask. After having the i4 mask for a few years and needing an upgrade, this was $200 well spent. Its slightly larger with an attractive profile, a camera mount, easy to replace foam (thank god) a lens that is impossible to fog up and is compatible with the i4 lenses, and the best part, the rachet strap system! This thing fits like a glove every single time. with my i4 I always had to wear a baseball cap to keep it in place but not these. If you have the money, buy these. 10/10 dopest mask out there.

Pros:
-Nearly impossible to get this thing to fog, even if you try to.
-Field of view is excellent
-Lens is polarized to at least some extent, so you won't be blinded on a bright day
-Covers my ears, chin, and jawline-- I have a large head, so this had been an issue with other masks.
-Looks great

Cons:
-It's not quite full head protection. Those of you with sizable heads will notice the top of your forehead is vulnerable. I recommend wearing a beanie with this if you don't want welts on your dome.

Overall, this mask is absolutely fantastic and will serve you well however you use it in airsoft.

"Disregard my last review. Got a new lens and this mask is AWESOME. I guess the lens it came with was damaged in transport but the new one (same lens but just bought it separate) is crystal clear.

"Easily the best mask on the market. You do a pay a premium but it's because Dye knows they are the premium mask choice in both airsoft and paintball. The adjustment strap makes fitting the mask to your face phenomenally easy, the aesthetics of the mask are amazing. I have not managed to get this mask to fog even once and it offers a great field of view. In my opinion your eye/face protection is the most important part of your kit so if you have the money to spend the i5 is the best you can get.

"This is it. After a small bit of research I came to this. Beforehand I was running a cheap lower mesh mask and goggles. So I was in need of an upgrade. When I first used this (I wear an Oakley Beanie on my head alongside it) I was blown away. I almost want to say ever since I bought this I've had more fun in airsoft. I was just so opened up. The field of view is almost infinite. This never, and I mean never fogs. And it is stupid comfortable and easy to put on with the GSR strap. I love this. Worth the nearly $200.

If I absolutely had to find a con I would have 2: When you first get this there is a film protecting the lense, and taking off the lense is an absolute pain. But they say you only need to replace the lense once every two years as the anti fog coatings wear off. And the other con I have which is entirely preventable by the user is the GSR strap. If you over tighten the strap you can bend the teeth inside and there's a chance that the strap can become uneven and have one side longer than the other. This is easily repaired if and when it happens and preventable as long as you don't over tighten it.

"So comfortable. So breathable. It looks good and feels good to wear. I spent 8 hours outside and the only time it dogged up was when I crawled under a blackberry bush and dew dropped all over me and dropped through the vents on top of the mask. Then the water heated up from my own body heat and fogged up. I took a timeout and wiped me off and sprayed some anti fog. Let them dry. They didn’t fog again for the next 6 hours and any time the next day for another 8 hour adventure.

"Dye 5 is dye best out there.

Stop wasting all your money on cheap masks and fog spray that either doesn't work, or half works so you have to keep reapplying.

"A little bit of awesomeness! Will not fog under any condition. I live in the South. It is always humid and hot from June - Sept. Every mask I've tried fogs up. This is a dual paned lens. It works!
