"Test aeg was Emg umbrella sbr ( cyma platinum build)
I tried several aegm4 mags and all worked including
Troy 250 rd
Emg 250rd
And these 220 rd midcap
All functioned but I chose these…. Why?
They functioned flawlessly, though you do lose 2-3 bbs when “empty”
But the most important part to me was that the other offerings were shorter than the real counterpart.
These are effectively 1:1 to real Pmags . Including being able to fit the original magpuls that the company is named for.
This is important for a couple of reasons.
One if you are using this as a stand in during training ( which I do) it allows to test /fit kit in a non range environment.
Two, if you are using for milsim/ field play ( which I also do) almost all your kit was built and configured around real mags , in the case of the Troy mags they almost disappear inside a 3 pouch kangaroo holder . These mags don’t, as they are 1:1. While possibly less important if you’re using taco like pouches, but the elastic cumberbund or admin style kangaroos really need 1:1 mags to work correctly.
Three, if you’re using “beercan” grip to grab them, you need all the exposed surface area you can get.
Hope this helps.
Oh and if the laser engraving turns you off, just tape off the opening andgrab a can of krylon fusion spray paint in your favorite flat color from the Walmart or hardware store. On can will do 10 mags and “poof” no more engraving.

"These work great in my CYMA M16 but they are very tight in my S&T M4. They seem durable, solid and well made.

"Good mags, but I counted how many I could load into them…. I bought 3 of the Widow Makers and on average they only took 166 bss. So that’s really disappointing. They feed really well in my Sig MCX with Polarstar Kythera. I’m going to rate them at a 3, as the bb count is significantly lower than advertised.
