The Umarex Origin is your all-inclusive first step into the world of pre-charged pneumatic shooting. It's also the ideal air rifle for survival and prepping.
The Origin .22 PCP rifle is a truly unique PCP that cuts pumping down by half so you can do more shooting. The patented pre-pressurized tank is pressurized for a full-power shot with only 13 pumps from the included 3-stage, 4,500 PSI hand pump. It's the Ever Pressure Tank System that makes it possible to fill the air cylinder with fewer pumps. To completely fill the Origin's tank it only requires about 100 pumps, half of the pumps required of comparable PCP rifles with a similar air cylinder volume. The Origin .22 is a smooth operator with its side-mounted cocking lever and included two 10-shot auto-indexing rotary magazines that share its design with the Umarex Gauntlet magazine.
With the Origin, you can spend less, pump less, and shoot more. Mount up your favorite optic on the combination optic rail that will accept 11mm or Picatinny rings and head to the range with the Origin .22 pellet rifle and a few tins of pellets.

" Just back from the range and this Origin Pcp is everything all the videos claim it to be. Last night it arrived by UPS just 4 days after I ordered it. I was a little surprised, the box is huge and weighs 17 lbs. This is a solid piece of gear. With the included high pressure pump all you need is some 22 pellets and mount an optic and you are ready for a range day. I weigh just 157 lbs and am 66 years old so I had some concerns about my ability to hand pump over 3500 psi. Let me tell you you don't need to worry, long slow strokes to allow all chambers in th pump to fill . The first 2000 psi is easy, from 2000 to 3000 psi you know you are building serious pressure but it is not really difficult. Over 3000 Psi and you need to let your weight do the work, not your arms. Remember I Weigh just 157 ? You can pump up to 3650 psi but only gain a few more shots . So I stopped at 125 pumps from flat empty to 3200 psi . This gave me 60 shots but the last 3 were a little low on target. Fill from 1500 to 2800 and you get 30 to 40 easy pumping shots with much less pump effort. When I shot between wind gusts I was getting ragged one hole ten shot groups at 50 yards with cheap 14.3 grain Crossman pellets, 500 for $ 6.24 . I bought this because this ammo shortage is getting grim, even 22 LR is nearly impossible to find. This allows me to practice without worries that I won't have ammo for the next match. If I had known how accurate a Pcp air gun can be I would have bought it long before !
