GATE G5 Plus Smart Brushless Motor for V2 Gearboxes

"It’s really a nice one. You can tune the RPS to whatever you want.
Be careful — it’s a beast and can destroy your gearbox, which I did :).
Start with the lowest torque setting.

"The motor is great and I love how it connects to the app. If you go to the gate website I would probably not order it off of there unless you want to pay a crazy customs fee (if you're in the US)

"Works great! Able to just pick your your rounds per second on the app. I have it paired with a titan 2 and 13:1 short stroked gears. Hits 30rps at 30k and medium torque. Haven’t tried to go higher but in theory it would hit 40+rps easy

"I have 2 of these motors one in a g&g another in a krytac. If everything is updated works flawless with app. It's nice to be able to find the sweet spot of motor speed with out having to tear gun down.

To follow up from the previous feedback there was a firmware update scheduled. I contacted Gate via Discord chat and got info regarding the G5 and was able to connect by doing a firmware reset with my Aster 2 bluetooth along with using a 7.4v battery. This fixed the connection issue i had and all works perfect. I'm told the firmware update will solve further issues when using 11.1v batteries. Till then using 7.4v to connect and make motor adjustments will work.
