CYMA Sport AK47 Tactical Airsoft AEG Rifle (Model: Skeleton Side-folding Stock / Gun Only)

"After playing this weekend with the gun I can say this:

Pros:
Was under 400fps with .20g bbs and was fine for play on my local field
Shoots straight out the box with .25g
Accurate as hell for a $100 AEG
Feel sturdy, no squeeks or wobbles
Decent stick lipo battery lasted all day (4+ hours and 1200+ bbs through it and had 2 cells left on my battery)
Adjustablity of the stock makes it a quick transition from CQB to long range fights

Cons:
Is a bit heavy for a smaller player
Getting the battery in and closing the top receiver can be a bit difficult but you'll get better at it with time
14ccw muzzle but has no retention pin when adding an aftermarket muzzlebrake/flashhider (small gripe)
You don't own one yet

For a starter gun, I don't think you can get more bang for your buck than this gun, I'm still amazed at the value/performance from this thing. If you're on the fence about getting one, pull that trigger and join the AK family

"I got this gun recently for my brother, and when it does shoot it�s a blast. It might be the mag it came with but it jams a lot and double feeds often too.

"This is a great gun for intermediate players, shoots about 125 ft to 200 ft, The only problem is in stead of 340 to 400 fps, it was 310 to 360. But overall amazing gun

"Gun seems good shoots pretty hard and straght, but it's really loud, the receiver is polymer and kind thin but seems tuff, the stock is cheap plastic so be careful not to drop it, the handguard is good thick polymer, mine when I got it wasn't put together and the little plastic front piece that holds it together is cracked but once I put it back together it seems to be ok and strong so not to worried. All in all its a pretty good gun for the price

"I have mixed feelings for this gun. While I do love it for how durable it is, it has its faults. The dust cover, buffer tube, gas block, gas tube, outer barrel, are all metal. The receiver, grip, ris, stock, are all durable plastic that can take the same hits as the metal on the gun. The main problem I have with the gun is the stock. No matter what stock you put on it, it will always wobble with a lot of noise.

"I bought this gun a few weeks ago and I love it. I am a huge AK47 fan and this is a very good gun for a very good price. For example. I played at my local Airsoft course where I live and One course I played on was about a full acre. This gun shot clear across the field and was pretty spot on. (I used .25 bbs though) I had one issue with it when I ordered it the first time. It had a bent barrel but sent it back got a new one no hassle. Hmmmm well one other issue I have is the top rail is slightly askew but not a huge amount. The rail space is small but good enough. I have a M203 grenade launcher on the under rail and it fits snugly Other than that this is a excellent gun for a steal. I recommend you buy it if your starting out or been doing airsoft for years like I have.

Pros
- Great fps and range (I use .25 remember that)
- Sturdy good build
- decent amount of rail space.

Cons
- Askew top rail (probably a manufacture defect not a big deal.)
- Battery space is very limited. can only use a stick type battery. (unless you use a PEQ box like I do but you will have to do alittle modding.)
- Rail space is a con as well because there is not a lot.

"This airsoft gun is good overall however the stock is a little wobbly but that's not too much of a problem. Warning 9.6v batteries do NOT fit without modification.

"This gun is great overall. It shoots exactly like the Tokyo marui version. The problem is the stock. The stock is weak and cracks easily. Mine slightly cracked on the side when I first got the gun. Also the stock comes scratched up a little so a suggest you get a spare ak stock. They sell it at evike.com.

"This gun is an AWESOME weapon! The finish on it is very nice, the metal makes me feel like I know I won't break it when I drop it, the performance is VERY GOOD! My Li-Po I ordered from a different site hasn't gotten to me from Switzerland, so for now I have to use the included 8.4V battery.

Pros
-Full Metal
-Crane Stock
-Surprisingly fast ROF with the included 8.4V
-Surprisingly accurate, even with the hopup off! I can hit a short Soda can from 75 feet!
-Decent FPS, enough to go through 2-3 layers of styrofoam

The Pros far outweigh the Cons. I'm taking this beast to CQBcity once my battery gets here!

"Purchased this gun as a primary gun. It is amazing! It hits hard and the rof isn't too bad either. The safety doesn't really work though and the front Iron sight wobbles after some time on the field.

Pros:
-Looks bad ass!
-RIS system is helful
-High FPS
-Decent ROF
-dependable

Cons:
-Iron sight becoming loose and isn't centered
-Safety doesn't work
-Pretty heavy

P.S. I just got the SRC AK-47 in my Box of Awesomeness, they seem to perform the same but I haven't fully tested the SRC yet. The RIS makes this gun an awesome AK!

"this was my first AEG that i purchased, about 2 years ago, and i have to say that it is a great gun to start off with and learn with, but i wouldnt say that its for an expert. mine is pretty heavy, about 11lbs so a good weight, in my opinion. it is made by JG so it is going to shoot pretty hard, about 350-400fps. the max range I have found it accurate at is about 120ft. it is pretty durable, some parts are plastic where they should be metal, but overall its alright. here are some pros and cons:

Pros:
-good starter gun
-shoots hard
-very accurate
-comes with a pretty good battery (compared to some other stock ones)
-8.4v 1400mah battery
-comes with a foregrip
-has RIS already

Cons:
-cheaper type polymer
-has a kind of slow ROF
-butt plate may come off during matches (mine did several times)

overall i would say this gun has a lot more good things about it than bad, so i would give it a 4/5 in a beginners perspective

"The gun shoots great. I love the FPS, and the underfold stock is good for cqb, but you can't use the grip when the stock is folded under. The Battery compartment is kind of small, but when you start using it more often, it becomes less of a hassle since there is a certain way to make it fit.

Great size mag (600 rounds)

Cons:
Sling that comes with it sucks. Don't even bother.
The selector switch comes loose when you use the gun a lot. You have to tighten it as it comes loose or when you fire in automatic it will move straight down to semi auto. The same goes for when it moves from safety to automatic, which is hardly safe... So for that big detail I give it 1 less star...
