"This vest is great for the amount of money you spend. Its light weight, comes with all of the basic pouches, and it looks great. The only problem that I have come across is that the seems fall apart after about a year of use and the pouches are very low grade. All in all its a good all around plate carrier.

"For the money, it's a good deal. Buying a plate carrier and then all the pouches that come with this would be more expensive. I'm using all the pouches on it except for the radio pouch (which can be used as a holster if you want). If you jam 'em in there, you can double stack mags in the pouches. So the triple can hold six and the double can hold four. It's a decent plate carrier too. It feels oh so much better with plates in it, so I would recommend making them out of cardboard and sticking 'em in there. However, there are some negatives. A part of the quick release system on mine broke, so now I can't use that anymore. I fixed it with a zip tie, but no more quick releasing for me. It is also not the best quality plate carrier. There are loose strings all over the thing, so take a lighter to it to stop them from fraying.
PROS:
Cheap
Functions as it should
Comes with all the pouches you will need
CONS:
Not the best quality, but it could be worse
PS: Watch Evike's review on this so you know how to wear it. I didn't know what to do with the two longer straps, but they wrap around your body underneath the vest.

"Overall very good vest...Only thing bad about it is the adjusting, BUT!!! don't think about not getting it because of it. This vest is very thick and well built its almost to good to be true!!!. MY opinion this definitely worth getting and the 100 dollars. I went to my military surplus store and it even beat some of the chest rigs they had. This vest is also very heavy without anything in it its about 6lbs. Comes with all the pouches and they are also very good quality. So buy this vest you wont regret it also the reason i marked it down a star is because of the adjustment, but you are most likely the only to use it so adjusting it once wont be hard at all.

"vest just arrived today
lets get started.
first impressions, it looks great, just like the picture. the picture and description differ.
it says comes with 3 double m4 puches i got a 3 pocket and 2 pocket for a total of 10 when the description leads you to believe it comes with 3, 2 pocket pouches for a total 12 mags.
there is no hydration pocket, you could put the bladder in where the armor goes but there is no dedicated pocket
its very adjustable. my friend got the same vest with me and his fit him great out of the box mine on the other hand was pretty loose. with bdus armor plates and magazines in i have to have it on the tightest setting and im 5'9 155lbs and wear a samll reg bdu top. its not an on the fly adjustment either. i spent a good 10-15 minutes getting it right .
there is hook and loop under the collar for atatchment of a neck guard too. i think i found a clip for the groin protector option as well.
the pouches that came with it are already put on the vest i just had to put them on all the way to make sure it was all nice and cozy. the rivet on the admin pouch strap was busted and so was the strap that hold down the middle plate in the back of the vest but im emailing evike to see if there is anything we can do about this. the one on the back isnt a big deal b/c of all the hook and loop but the adminpouch will move all over the place.
overall i love the ciras replica. building the vest from the carrier up would cost a fortune. this is the best deal for the money period

"A good vest there's no doubt about that. One of the things that makes this vest so great is the fact that you can rearrange the pouches on it wherever you want them thanks to the MOLLE design. Other vests can do this yes but at this price you get all the pouches you see in the picture. The problem with it comes to fitting the vest on you. Maybe there's an easier way but I had to get someone else to adjust all the sides and straps due to the quick release system and how that attaches to them. It's a bit complicated but not much of a problem. On another positive note the back plate compartment is big enough to hold a water bladder.

"I've had this vest for about a year now, and I've been very pleased with it. I think I payed 200 for it last summer (I got it here at evike) so at this price I think it's a very good deal for a decent quality CIRAS replica.

"I ordered this plate carrier because I liked the style and everything it came with. Some things I noticed is the adjustability options. This would be great for someone bigger then me. I’m 5’7” and about 140lb. This plate carrier is still loose on me a bit and I added some mock SAPI plates in it. I have everything set as small as it can go and though it works and I don’t get a ton of movement with it it’s still a bit big. That’s something to keep in mind for us smaller guys. Unfortunately, day one of having it where the cumber bun attaches to the chest. The flap on the chest that goes over the cumber bun tore at the seam. The stitching on this is subpar I believe. They could of used better stitching to hold the pieces together better. I can get it repaired since the fabric didn’t rip, but if you are building a plate carrier whether real steel or not it should be able to hold together from simply pulling Velcro apart. It’s a decent first plate carrier for what it has to offer I just don’t think the size is good for small guys and the quality in the stitching is poor.
For those looking to put SAPI plates in it. A medium SAPI fits right. I know they say large capable. It’s tight with a medium. I don’t hate the plate carrier but I don’t love it. I ordered a different one to use mainly that’s a little more low profile. This one is very bulky.

"Overall it’s a decent vest, the stitching starts to give out after a while and the Molle loops aren’t evenly spaced and the end loops aren’t big enough to fit anything through. Decent enough for a first buy until you get something better

"The vest is not TRUE M81 Woodland.....I should've known this from the pictures but I went on a leap of faith.....this doesn't bother me too much, but then I went to a game and the pouches started to fall apart......no biggie, I was planning on getting new pouches anyways but still, a downfall.

"Just recently got my pate carrier and had my first game with it today. I kind of have mixed feelings about it. Overall, I like it, its great. But looking down at the fine detail of it, its not so great. When I first got it out of the box, Some of the spots where the pouches clip together (male & female), were broken off. Mag pouches are extremely stiff (but its also brand new). And finally, the sewing on the vest just completely sucks a$$, there's no sugar coating it. When I went to lift up one of the sides of Velcro to take the vest off. It almost completely ripped off, and the admin pouch is the same. For a $90 vest, you'd think the material would be a lot better than what it is. Don't get me wrong though, I like the vest, it fits nicely and gets the job done. But I don't think its worth $90.
Pro's:
Fits nicely
Everything's on it, so your set to go out of the box
Evenly distributes the weight
Can carry all my essentials (my medical gear)
Con's:
Material that its made of is terrible
Sewing on the vest sucks, had to re-sew myself
Pouches should have been of better quality
Not worth $90, more like $60 or $50
Hope this review helps you!

"This is a good plate carrier for the price, and it comes with most all the pouches you'll need. A major con is that it is VERY loose for a skinny person. I'm 6'0 and wear a 30" waist, and on the smallest setting for the outer adjustment it was still way too loose. Custom holes were put in there, took about 5 minutes to do and now it fits perfect.
Pros:
comes with pouches
It's a functioning CIRAS
It doesn't cost an arm and a leg
Cons:
Poor stitching, threads come off everywhere
Pouches and MOLLE could definitely be better quality
I am really skinny so I had to cut holes in the adjustments to make it fit

"Let me start this review by stating that this vest DOES NOT FIT 10 MAGS as some people have said. I received mine a few days ago and was immediately dissapointed with the low magazine capactiy (5 mags)
There is no way to mags can fit in each pouch. The vest was very stiff out of the package. It came warpped in plastic with a few pouches detached and just thrown into the box. I has to replace the m4 mag pouches right away. This vest doesnt seem to be adjustable.
Pros
C.I.R.A.S type
.....
Fits like a glove (good/baD)
Cons
Mag pouches are terrible. Barely fits one mag
Stiff, cheap feeling material
Molle webs are not good. Huge hassle to get some pouches on.
