"To start off, this gun looks amazing and isn’t too heavy which makes it perfect to running throughout the field.
But when I took it out of the box, the issues started to show up.
- AK drum mag didn’t fit into the receiver and didn’t feed bbs
- bbs got stuck inside the receiver to the point you have to shake them out.
- if you use a hi-cap or manual drum mag, it breaks the feeder in seconds
When I went to use it on the field for the first time
- No M4 mid-caps would stay in and kept falling out
- it was firing the same fps with .20g and .25g (320fps)
- wasn’t the right fps that I ordered, I ordered the 400fps version and wasn’t going the high
After a lot of research, many people have claimed to file the mag well and mags to get the mag/drum to fit.
Would not recommend this gun unless you want to modify the mag well and receiver

"Fragile and cheaply put together-
This gun is the king of jamming and the box mag is not well put together. I have been through two box mags, and both have broke just as I started playing with them. Haven’t even gotten a chance to use the gun in a real airsoft war yet because it keeps breaking right as I’m about to use it. Whether the wiring in the mag comes undone or the gun jams, it rarely works. If you accidentally bump against the tree or wall, the whole entire mag will fall apart, and if you drop it… forget it throw out the whole gun cause it will fall apart like legos. i’m begging you ignore the other good reviews and save your money, go look for something with quality because you won’t find that here.

"Very disappointed.
I'm new to airsoft and wanted to get a capable gun but not go overboard out of the gate. I'm a sucker for LMGs so I decided to try the Cybergun M249 Para Featherweight as it fit my budget. I also bought the recommended upgraded barrel, bucking, batteries and aftermarket box mag.
Right out of the gate it had feeding issues. I'm not able to shoot at home so it was difficult to trouble shoot and my field is an hour away. I contacted evike about my feeding issues and they offered that the air seal might be the culprit. I installed my new barrel and bucking hoping the new bucking would fix the air seal issues. Unfortunately it did absolutely nothing to fix feeding issues. The AR mag it came with and the "nutsack" box mag I purchased feed just fine on their own but the gun only shoots 1 out of 5 shots if I'm lucky. It usually just dry fires.
I made the mistake of taking off the orange flash hider and upgrading the barrel and bucking in my excitement to make this gun my own and also trying to trouble shoot the problems myself and have voided the warranty. I should have just sent it back right away when it didn't work out of the box.
I don't know if i just got a lemon or what but I'm 350$+ into this gun with several nights of troubleshooting and I have a worthless paperweight that I've never been able to use.
Just a brutal first experience getting into this sport/game.
My advice is save your money to purchase a better full metal gun with a history of functioning well before you buy this cheap plastic POS and get burned like me.
