"Not a bad piece of kit overall. Fits well on me (6ft, 225ish lbs), and very easy to swap pouches.

Pros:
Comfortable to wear
Lots of Molle Real Estate
Internal Nylon Webbing helps keep you cool

Cons:
Molle Webbing is inconsistently stitched. Some spots are bigger, some smaller
Stitching in spots feels shoddy. Previous one I had the side panel began to rip away.
Some original pouches are oversized, causing them to overlap into other pouches.

Solid Vest for a milsim, but don't go too hard on it

"I got this vest little over a year ago and it’s ok, the only problem I have with it is the fact that it can barley fit on me. I have a high metabolism so I can barley gain weight so I’m right around 130-140 and 5’8 or 5’9 and it feels like I have to pull it all the way to the max levels of adjustment just to feel right on me. Other then that it takes EMG dummy foam plates well, fits magazines in the pouches well and even can fit you’re phone in the admin pouch.

"Purchased for milsim and got a chance to test it out last night. Here's my honest impressions:

Pros:
-Plenty of pouches, and plenty of space for more
-Very adjustable, very adaptable
-Molle is nice and tight, you're not gonna have pouches sliding around all over

Cons:
-Most of the pouches are just a little too short to go thru full length of the vest, but hang over on one short. Not a huge problem, but can make for you pulling up a pouch, instead of lifting the vest flap.
-Most of the pouches are a bit oversized. Not in a bad way, but they end up overlapping just a touch, which makes it a bit tough to get into the admin pouch.
-Not really a permanent Con, but the vest is extremely stiff out of the package. Gonna have to take some time to work it and get it loosened up.

Over all, good CIRAS Replica. The cons in it are not extreme detriments to the vest, just slightly inconvenient sometimes. Not enough to stop me from using the vest, and not enough to ruin the effectiveness of it. As long as you can work around the cons, then honestly I highly recommend this one.

"I just received this vest, and overall I'd say I'm satisfied. However, this vest has some pretty glaring issues to go with the many good things.
I'll start with the pros. I bought the color listed as tan, in the hopes that it would blend in well with Coyote gear. I was surprised to discover that the plate carrier is, in fact, 100% coyote brown. This may be seen as a bad thing for some, but I was surely happy I could use some of my existing coyote gear without looking weird. The pouches this comes with are also a good plus, for the money you get a great deal, and the pistol pouches, admin pouch, and GP pouch are definitely things I will consider keeping. The carrier also fits pretty well once fully adjusted, but more on that later. As for appearance, I love the design. It looks great. It comes with some cheap, half-inch thick plate-shaped foam inserts that I replaced immediately with proper Foam SAPIs, but the fact that they took the time to include that for the newer players is awesome. And, of course, for what it is this vest is a steal for only 70$ or so. Now the cons. Firstly, the magazine pouches are extremely tight-fitting. I can fit two STANAGs, but just barely, and not easily. I have to jam in the second one and put some real force into it. I will likely be replacing these at some point. Second, the admin pouch tends to slide down the front segment a couple inches, exposing the rather eyesore front carry handle assembly, which just looks like a mess of velcro. This is because the top layer of MOLLE threading is simply not there. The carrier doesnt even accommodate a pouch that comes with the vest... This is probably easily fixable by adding Velcro fasteners to the back of admin pouch to secure it to the front handle assembly, which is likely something I will do. Another thing, this vest comes with zero instructions, and normally that wouldnt be a problem with plate carriers, but this one could certainly have benefitted from one. The weird stiff white pipecleaner-looking thing that goes from the back of vest into the Front Carry handle? DONT REMOVE THAT. It's essential for the badly designed size adjustment system, which I will get into. I removed it thinking it was useless, and had to work some redneck enginuity into it with Duct Tape to keep it in place. To adjust size, you need to open up the velcro enclosure and thread a looped piece of coupe-like thing through holes in some straps, and use the pipe-cleaner thing to secure everything. While this works, it's extremely tedious to do, and isn't exactly the most reliable. You then attach the cummerbund to the front panel using velcro, which isn't much better of a system than the actual adjustment. Donning and doffing is extremely tedious, pretty much forcing you to take it on and off like a shirt over your head unless you want to risk your size adjustments getting messed up. A simple strap/buckle system would have solved this problem. But, once you have your size adjusted, it seems to hold up well. I haven't fielded this yet, so take everything I say with a bit of a grain of salt. I'll be fielding it tomorrow at Operation Pirate Exploder, so fingers crossed it does well. I'm so far satisfied with my purchase, 70$ certainly well-spent. Great value.

Short version;
Pros:
Coyote Brown, not tan (could be a con)
Great value, especially considering the included pouches
Looks fantastic
Comfortable
Comes with cheap plates to keep it's shape, which not a lot of plate carriers include.
Perfect for beginner players to start with, or for intermediate players to have a good start on for a full setup

Cons:
Adjustment is pretty tedious
Donning and doffing is extremely inconvenient
Included magazine pouches get extremely tight when you store two M4 magazines
Included Admin Pouch slides down due to lack of MOLLE on top layer

"Pros: Fits many people, holds 6 mags on the front and 4 on the sides or back, big utility pouch, radio pouch can have many purposes, big admin pouch, fits snug.
Cons: Stitching is weird, admin and pistol pouches like to over lap, back molles aren't spaced evenly.

I am 5"10 and my weight is 270 and it fits me perfectly and I have a friend who also owns this and is a stick and it can fit him snug as well. It holds up to its name!

"I bought this vest recently and I have to say it isn't that bad. The vest holds up to 10 M4 mags and has a utility pouch. However there are some cons. The stitching could be better, when I got it there was a lot of loose stitching, and also it's can be hard to adjust the size, especially the shoulders. All in all I would say it is a fair 4/5 stars because it is inexpensive and isn't to bad.

"Very good vest. I like it a lot. It is very hard to adjust the cummerbund because there is not a ton of velcro space to adjust very tight to your sides. NOTE- When you first get this, it is VERY stiff. The mag pouches are double stack, but they need to be stretched out a LOT.

Pros

Easy to adjust
Comes with double stack mag pouches
lots of other various pouches
comes pre-installed with foam "plates"
Velcro spot for all the patches

Cons
VERY stiff when you first get it
Cummerbund does not have a lot of adjustment to it
Will not fit smaller people very well.

"This is a nice vest, especially for someone looking to get a basic vest that has everything you would need off the bat. Overall it is of good quality but the stitching in some spots ins't the strongest. I actually nearly ripped off one of the flaps on one side, but due to the velcro and design, it has virtually no impact on the operation of the vest, but be careful. Especially when peeling the pieces apart to adjust it.

Pros:
-Loads of storage. 10 M4 mags, 2 pistol mags, and more
-Very adjustable. I am a larger guy, 5'11" 2X shirt size and it fits me with quite a bit of adjustment left
-Quality fabric
-Very secure. Strong velcro
-Looks great

Cons:
-Weak stitching
-Default pistol mag location makes it tough to shoulder a rifle. I only run 1 spare pistol mag on my chest so I simply removed the right side pouch and problem solved
-Could be heavy fully loaded. If you're wimpy.

Overall this is a great all-in-one tactical vest to get you up and running. I cleaned up the loose strings with a lighter and removed the right side pistol mag pouch and now it's set up perfect for me. If the stitching was sturdier it would be totally perfect.

"zour team bought this and the other "Arid Serpent" vest. It is a MIX of highlander and nomad. Nomad stuff is MUCH lighter and more tan, and the lack of green stands out when you put actual highlander pouches on it. HOWEVER, the vest itself with real highlander pouches on it looks very good. Don't expect much from these pouches the webbing is terribly off at parts. The vest itself is very nice. If it didn't come with any pouches I would still say this is a very good deal.

The pouches get a 2/5 Stars.
The vest gets 5/5 stars. Very little complaints. Definitely worth the money just for the vest.

"This is a really good vest and fits great! But before I could even take it out to the field while i was adjusting the cumberbund part of the sewing ripped.

Pros:
Fits great
Very customizable with the MOLLE
Easy to adjust

Cons:
Front drag handle is kind of annoying
Mine had defective sewing
by Askin B. on 10/10/2013
"i just bought this vest and I love it! i ll get to the point right away.
Pros:
Comfortable
Lightweight
Customizable
Looks sexy as hell
There is MOLLE on the vest so you can put just about anything on it.

Cons:
Drag handle is sh!t, I mean come on they can stitch it on there better.

"Ive had this plate carrier since March and have used it just about every weekend and through 2 Lion Claws events. Overall it has been fantastic. The first thing your going to want to do to it is take out the rip cord that keeps it all together and replace it with zip ties it will save you so much time and anger. Also it is pretty heavy but you will get used to it. The materials and stitching are also not the best but they will do. Im a bigger guy 6'4" 290 pounds and it can still go bigger so it can fit a very wide range of people.
by Nick M. on 04/29/2013
"Got this vest today and my first impression is that this thing is pretty heavy. Overall for 90$ this is a good vest for beginners or experienced players. It does not have the best quality material though, When i was looking at the molle on the side M4 pouches i tried to take it of and one of the buttons broke. i'm about 5'10 185 pounds and this this doesnt fit all that well so i dont suggest getting it if your under the height/weight. Maybe because i got it today but the mag pouches do not fit 2 mags and it doesnt seem like it will get better overtime. overall a pretty good vest for 90$ considering it comes with all the pouches you need.

"Good vest, matches all my condor coyote brown gear and pouches.

Pros:
Sturdy
Pouches
Somewhat adjustable
Great base vest if you have your own pouches.

Cons:
Somewhat big. Like the other reviews said, im 5'7.5 and 130 pounds and this vest isnt form fitting
Quality of the pouches isn't that great
Like someone said molle is perfect
