its pretty heavy and if your weak it will be hard to carry around for a while without a sling.
one of the gears in the gearbox stripped only a week after i got it and im not sure if thats warrantied or not.
i would give it 5, but the stripped gear made me angry.

"Was super excited to see this thing come in, but it looked like it had been taken apart beforehand. The plastic screw for the battery compartment was in so tight it rounded off immediately and the fire mode switch won’t budge out of Auto.
It is a very nice replica and it feels good in the hands, but there’s not much more i can say because I never had the chance to shoot it.

"I got one just opened it a gift from my mom! Its a fun gun I've shot it once and drained the battery but the hop up tray got stuck open just enough to fit my thumb in and it sucks but its a solid gun except the hop up being stuck open

"I recently picked this up onsale and it is clearly defective and the barrel and handguard bend to the left, including the sight; creating a strange dynamic. Now the construction is decent mostly metal except for the defect I received. The Ebb is a waste of battery but is quite nice for this guns metal slide.

"Really wanted to like this gun as I have a few real ones BUT, with the folding stock, they run the battery wires out near the dust cover and they will rub. Plus, the box they provide for putting a battery in is to small for any battery to fit in when you have to place the connecting wire and fuse in the case as well. Now throw in the fact that spare magazines are hard to get and it makes this a nice dust collector. Oh, and there are no directions for this model, its a figure it out on your own how to get it to work.
No way to contact "6mmProshop" either.
Two stars only because it looks and feels like it should be a really nice gun to have.

To bad Evike's techs support is so slow and you can not contact them via phone! Maybe then I would not have to get and RMA number to return all three of my air-soft rifles! Not a great start to this sport or orders from Evike.

"After waiting 6-10 days.. I received the gun!

It has really good weight, clip, blowback works, handle is comfortable, and shoots actually quite accurate.

However.. The blowback slide, manages to hit the wires for the battery. Due to the fact that without the solid stock, they put the battery in the awkward attachment piece on the barrel rail. I don't know what im going to do, it's going to be super difficult to move the wires, and if i don't do it, the wires will tare from the blowback slide. They also did not give me the correct instructions for the non-solid stock FAL. So finding where the battery goes, how it wires up and everything, was pretty difficult.

May even try to return it for a different gun...

Another thing, clip has a pretty hard time loading into the gun, ends up dry firing quite a lot. Sometimes it works fluidly and I have no problems. But sometimes it struggles quite a lot.

AND another thing. The grip it comes with, doesn't work at all. It will not tighten down correctly.

What it comes down to, is the fact that it was on sale, decent price, but it has been a lot more work and problems than I imagined...

"so I just got this and it preforms well but the externals are horrible. The stock is very wobbley; the screws in the upper receiver were loose and were falling out right out of the box; and the hand grip fell straight off while I was just holding it and ads. But this Gun preforms very well for the field and the blow back is pretty cool. You will get a lot of attention with this because no one really has a fal.

"The Gun is Defective, Bends to the left front sights are off by a lot. Wouldnt recommend for anyone

"I almost never write any reviews but here it goes, first couple of days I had this gun, it was ok, did not seem to shoot very far but i wasnt worried about it, figured i was going to upgrade it anyways, the day comes for me to finally use it on the field, it dies before a single shot was taken, something with the motor, i sent it back and they fixed it, then couple of months later i finally have somebody to go with and we get ready to play, it wont even fire anymore. Was well past the warranty so i decided to try to fix it myself, I take it apart and i noticed scratches all over the place where the rail was covering it, like it had been used a lot. I do not recommend this gun to others, maybe it was a one off but that was just my experience. Only good thing i can say about it is that it looks awesome.

"Not impressed at all. The mock peq box is some flimsy plastic that broke when gave it a light tap to see if would hold up. Doesn't shoot straight and doesn't go far. And when the bolt opens and closes it slaps the battery wires. And it doesn't feed well I gotta Jimmy the mag every now and again to get it to feed. Poor attempt at a fal. Will not buy from 6mm pro shop again.
