"Nice gun, love it I recommend it just like a real 1911 the full metal body makes it feel real, but if you are a little kid it would be a little heavy.

"I bought this over three years ago so this is a long overdue review. It is not steel, its some sort of zinc alloy(AKA pot metal). The hammer started to break after a little while but it still kept firing. It was the loop part of the hammer that broke off. Then eventually the gun stopped firing, the valve on the magazine would not get hit by the striker. I took it apart and found out the valve striker spring had worn out and no longer worked, and the hammer was broken/cracked in several places. This is nothing a repair kit cant fix but just be warned that the internals will not last forever.

"The gun has a very consistent FPS and solid metal build quality, and has a powerful kickback that feels great in the hands. However, a few months after use, my slide pin fell off and remains very loose and occasionally falls out.

"Works well! Does what Evike says it will do. The only complaint I have is that the fake wood grip on mine is ugly. I replaced the stock grips with G10s. I wish that the company would make more grip options for the gun.

"I have had the “Colt Rail Gun” (two tone version) for almost three years now. It is a good GBB pistol for a beginner, but it still isn’t as good as a KJW Hi-Capa. The tolerances are not the greatest, in fact it is very hard to find a part that doesn’t rattle around in this entire gun. I could live with all that, but what really disappoints me is the lack of aftermarket parts. Most of the available replacement parts are just OEM. You can however fit some TM spec Hi-Capa/1911 part with modification (I put a 5.1 Hi-Capa guide rod in mine). The pistol also has good gas efficiency. You should be able to squeeze more than 60 rounds out of a single co2 cartridge. With some basic maintenance, this thing should last you a long time.

"I really liked this gun, the weight and feel are accurate to a colt 1911, and its been pretty accurate. The only issue I had was the gas release on the magazine I got with it breaking after 3 uses, but overall a great product.

"i got this gun in a store not off evike but i was happy with this gun but the gun is no good in a holster i is way to heavy it is a great gun but you need a very good holster

WARNING: if you remove the orange tip it looks very real leave it in its case or box inlet you get to the field

"This thing has an aggressive blowback and good weight to it. Got the extended mag as well and it cycles nicely. Accuracy is so so past 50ft and the internals are meh. First mag over coppressed the spring around the outer barrel had to spin it around but overall, it's a buy. Fun to shoot and mean looking, with a bottom rail to mount accessories.

"Great solid gun overall, it has a strong kick, along with the mags not leaking.

My only complaint is that the metal is soft. Be careful with this, as dents are very easy.

"i bought this gun recently from my local airsoft store in Carmel New York. The aesthetics of this gun are off the charts, and gas effeciency as well as build quality are also excellent. However, i received a gun with a defective hop up unit. It would double feed bbs into the barrel and let them roll out if the gun was tipped forward. it seems to have a defective bucking inside of the hop up unit. i'm sure its just a quality control slip up, so i am still giving this gun 4 stars. i would give it five, but it hasnt worked properly yet.

"Great gun, Shoots straight and kicks like a mule. Very gas efficient, maybe 4-5 mags out of one CO2 cartridge, as compared to some mags I've used that only give maybe 3 1/2. Only problem I have with this gun (so far) is that it seems to be an EXACT clone of the Elite Force 1911 Tac, which fell apart during the first game I took it to. We'll see if this gun holds out.

"I ordered this pistol for my CQB arena because I was looking for one, and this one looked perfect. It had an fps of 320-350 on evike. When I got it looked nice, but when I chronoed its fps was much higher than 350. It was shooting at an fps of 370-375 using .20 gram bbs, like what Evike recommended. So Now I have a pistol I can't use at my local CQB arena, but at least it to perform and look like a good pistol

"The pistol itself is very nice. The markings are authentically stamped, not painted on. The accuracy is about what you would expect, and the blowback is crisp. The trigger is just a tiny bit grittier than on my KWC Elite Force, but not stiff or gritty enough to be any kind of a problem. If I were rating the pistol on the basis of its performance for the first 90 days, I would have happily given it 5 stars.

Once the warranty expired, however, the magazine co2 seal malfunctioned, and started completely discharging the co2 capsule before it could be tightened, which rendered the pistol worthless for shooting. The only replacement magazine available for this pistol is an extended 27 round one, which I don't want (and don't want to spend $35 for). I ordered a KWC magazine rebuild kit for $16 plus shipping, but the wrench provided with the kit for loosening the seal is made of pot metal, and it breaks when trying to remove the seal, which means the seal cannot be removed and replaced. With no appropriate replacement magazine available, the pistol is only good for display, since it cannot be used with the defective magazine.

"My son bought this pistol and after the first use a piece fell off and was lost. this was normal use, nothing extreme and no modifications. The piece that was lost is a black plastic cap or plug that attaches to teh off side of the slide lock. The slide lock itself is there as is the brass bushing. Good pistol other than that.

There is no manual or parts list to order another on d attempts to contact EVIKE have been unsuccessful... anyone have an answer?
