WE-Tech Full Size Gen2 GI 1911 Gas Blowback Airsoft Pistol (Color: Black / Gas)

"I have been airsofting for about 3 years now. Now when I say this I mean it. This is a superb gun. The quality is of what you would expect of a 200 dollar gbb. This thing is smexy beyond belief. Shoots smooth and strong, many aftermarket parts for it (can virtually never break on you), magazines are fairly cheap, has a threaded barrel, all metal construction, nice paint color that doesn't scratch easily, accurate, able to shoot fast (as fast as you can pull the trigger), working safeties, nice dovetail safety that works great, nice hard recoil and fps while conserving gas. Can easily shoot off a full magazine with the slide catch working, then shoot of another whole mag before it runs out, feels very sturdy, very easy to dissasemble, and has a great range. This was the pistol I have waited for, and it is very cheap. This gun is amazing. You need to buy this gun. I already bought 4 extra mags for it. It will not fail you. I am one happy camper with evike's service. Gun gets these scores

"This is a nice looking GBB. Its has a nice chrome plating. Its more for a collection or for shooting stuff in your back yard. It also scratches easily. Over great gun.

"Got this in the mail a few days ago. It came in a plain black box well protected by the foam. Inside was just the nice M1911, one magazine, and a spare orange tip thats threded for silencers. No manual though?

Overall an awesome affordable gas blowback pistol. Goes nice with the Thompson M1A1 i have.

"I've had this gun now for a week and so far I've got to say, this gun is great for the price. The finish is beautiful. It looks so nice I hardly use it in CQB matches because I don't want to put any scratches or fingerprints on it.lol Strong and accurate shooting pistol. Fits really well in my leg holster. All you need to do to adjust the hop up is remove the slide which only takes a couple of seconds.

Cons:
Comes with brown plastic grips (rather have black)
Slide lock when unloaded doesn't lock back sometimes (maybe the fault of the user and not the gun)
Wish it came with an extra mag but I'm just spoiled

Overall Evaluation:
This gun is definitely the gun to get if you like the traditional style of the 1911 and want a little "AGGRO" and flash during a CQB match

"I've just received this gun, and i have to say its superb! it weighs just like the real thing, and is the most realistic looking 1911 out there. the outer quality is excellent, made with all metal, the internals all metal as well. a Masterpiece at simulating recoil, and extremely high accuracy, the WE 1911 is more than what i expected and it exceeds to be alot more. But don't make looks fool you, this gun will dent metal! It is the best choice out there, Don't worry about the orange tip, it comes off with some pliers and a little bit of brute force to pry it off. If you are looking for a 1911 and is speculating on what brand, or which one to get, your search ends here!
