Matrix Special Edition AK Tactical Airsoft AEG (Color: Tan / 400 FPS / Basic Battery Package)

"This is a great AK as it is Tactical cool. It also looks extremely dope and the accuracy / performance is amazing with .28g bbs.
This AK-47 is not like most AK as it has an M4 like stock. The magazine well does not also take extremely curvy AK-47 mags.

Cons: there is assembly but it is not bad. Along with that, the magazine is hard to play with and to reload it must be perfect otherwise your magazine will either fall out or will be difficult to pull out.

Pros: Great range/accuracy with .28g bbs. It is also extremely Tactical which helps if you have a bunch of accessories you want to attach. Overall I think the pros way out the time as when you get used to loading up the magazine/ finding new magazine a lot of the cons start to fade away.

"So far this gun is great. Although shooting with .20g bbs fly straight up as if the hop-up is adjusted too high. When I went to check, it was set to its lowest settings. I'm going to try .30g bbs next time so I will try to update my review if it made a difference. I definitely would recommend this gun for the average intermediate player. I also used an 11.1 LiPo that I had to jam into the battery housing which can be found by removing the dust cover (not rear wired).

PROS:
- Accurate
- Solid Build
- Good internals (In my opinion)
- Mag well can be awkward but fit my mags very well.

CONS:
- No Instruction manual on how to assemble.
- Battery housing is very small, good luck finding a battery that will fit.
- Lowest Hop-Up setting feels too high.
- Taking off the flash hider was a nightmare.
- Definitely one of the more heavier guns I've used.

"Got this AK during Black Friday sales with 3 extra mags and a 7.4 deans lipo all for $180! Rating 4 out of 5 because you get what you pay for, actually more to be honest! Obviously this is a Beta Projects clone and I must say is a sturdy build. The lower reciever, and rails however are polymer but I dont mind a light gun. Don�t be fooled though! This gun still has a lot of heft to it and is a hell of a lot heavier than my polarstar M4, which has a polymer upper and lower reciever and metal rail and outer barrel. The description also is faulty. This gun is not rear-wired and will not fit a nunchuk battery. It is wired to the top like all other AKs and will only take stick batteries. Sturdy build and shoots fine out of the box! None of that crappy trigger response and windy sound too! I was running an 11.1 lipo in this thing and trigger response is as crisp as can be. Would definitely reccomend this gun! Came to my house in 4 days after shipping too so that�s a plus! Fits Matrix beta project clone mags as well.

PROS
-Sturdy and strong
-Good performance out of the box (running around 20 rps on 11.1v 20c Lipo with stock gears and motor)
-Contrary to popular belief this gun does in fact come with metal bushiggs and not nylon

CONS
-(Maybe to some people but not me) Polymer reciever and rails
-Has a funny built buffer tube that won�t fit Magpul MOE stocks so.. (for me at least)

"The magazine latch keeps on becoming loose. Other than that its a pretty decent gun.

"This is my first AEG as I am just now getting into the sport. Construction is awesome! Comes with battery and charger but I would highly recommend spending the extra $15 on amazon getting a smart charger. Muzzle brake has a set pin instead of a screw so you have to break that to get to the 14mm negative threads. And with the hop up adjusted all the way off you with shoot out the end of your muzzle break on full auto. The high cap magazine it comes with will not feed once you have emptied the chamber where you dump the bbs in. So for flawless performance I would recommend some quality mid caps or a quality high cap. This thing is surprisingly accurate! Does tend to fire full auto when you switch to semi but only on the first pull of the trigger so no biggy. Comes with front sight adjusting tool and high cap winding tool. I'm giving this gun 4 stars because of the mag, the muzzle break issues, and the full auto/semi/safe selector. All problems I feel can be fixed. Can't beat it for the price by any means!!!

"Good gun for beginners but once you get more money, buy a cyma or an LCT. The charging handle, understandably, comes outside of the gun. For some reason I didn't get a manual for my gun specifically so I spent a bit fiddling with it. Then my next issue was the dust cover would fling off the gun after pulling back the mock bolt. I still have no idea why. Then the screw holding the grip in place loosened up. I tightened it down with a small screwdriver and fast forward to August 3rd 2021, the grip screw fell off when recording a review (how ironic).

Cons-
Cheaply made
Not really a con or a pro but polymer furniture makes it easy to break.
Trigger response is rather weak when using a 9.6v lipo but that's what aftermarket products are for.
