Matrix Full Size M4 BAMF Airsoft AEG w/ Metal Gearbox (Model: M4A1 RIS / Black / 350 FPS)

"This was my first full size airsoft gun, I use it running outside and it works great. Its pretty accurate, easy to carry, has a good solid build although the stock is a little wobbly. Overall a good gun.

For anyone looking to take the sights off, the front sight is not intended to be removed. I removed mine so I could add a red dot sight and I re-mounted the strap mount underneath where the sight was before, works fine but was difficult to remove.

The gun is incredible for the price honestly, kicks the crap out of the ones that my friends bought for like $40 and $80 less than whatever they got.

Con: I dropped it by mistake when my arm strap broke, the front sight hit the ground and the fins snapped right off. I was still able to make decently accurate shots but I wound up taking off the broken sight and putting a red-dot on the gun so I'm still really happy overall.

"When i first got this M4, it came with the wires to the motor unplugged. This is not Evike's fault, since this regularly happens when a gun is shipped and roughed around a bit. But, when we fixed the gun, I discovered that it had a bit of kick. I was excited to actually go out and play, but I had another problem. The hi-cap mag it came with jammed, and when I unjammed it, it broke. So then I had to wait another 3 weeks for a few mags to come in. Again, the hi-caps broke, so I said "screw it" and bought a ton of mid-caps. Anyways, on with the pros and cons.
Pros
Nice weighted high-strength polymer body (hence the name)
Comes with battery (120mAh butterfly type), foregrip and rear sight
Nice internals
Decent range and accuracy, if hop-up adjusted correctly

Now for the cons
Stock is a bit wobbly
Mine came with a disconnected motor (shipping problems)
After about 3 months my charging handle broke, along with the internal fire selector, shoots only full-auto now :(
No rear sling mount (had to improvise with some para-cord)

Over all, I would recommend this gun as a great beginner rifle. Used it for CQB and it worked great. Definitely worth the money!!!

"Very good gun for the money. It didn't come with an instruction manual, so I didn't know much about it. I figured out that you have to take off the rubber buttstock, unscrew a screw, then pull it off to access the place to put the battery. After a few runs with it, a wire popped off of the wire for the battery receiver, and I'm not sure if I should send it back or try to fix it. I would recommend this gun to anyone who buys within the price range, anyone who wants an upgrade, anyone who likes to customize, or kids who know what they are doing. I bought it somewhere else (amazon, which was actually a little more expensive) even though I love evike. My model came with foregrip, so I would think it would come with everyone's here.

I would rate it 3.5 if it were more expensive, but for the price, it would be maybe 4.5 if I could choose.

"I mean I guess it's ok you get what you get for 170, first day I got was odd there was no forward assist like at all was missing right out of the box;the charging handle had to be angled to get the dust cover down and first time taking it to the field it would go single fire then 3 round burst wich I assume is a mode but I didn't activate it the handguard was a tad bit wobbly but eh what can you expect, I most likely received a defective product unfortunately and probably cannot return it or get it exchanged now, but for any future buyer be weary of defects but if I had gotten a non defective product it would be 5/5 maybe ill get better luck next buy.
The positive things I will say though is that it shot great good trigger response and solid gear box very good with attachments.

"Aesthetics wise this good is good. Everything feels sturdy and realistic. No mag shake. Battery compartment is okay, not too bad. Nothing wobbles. Performance wise though, this gun is just terrible. Trigger needs to be pulled all the way back to fire. ROF is slow as hell. I would not recommend this gun.
