G&G CM18 MOD-1 Airsoft AEG Rifle (Package: Tan / Gun Only)

"I just got this gun a few days ago. Ive had it appart several times just messing around with it. Its very easy to take apart which I love because I am going to be doing alot of internal upgrades. So far I have not had problems with the hop up like people have been saying but I could see it causing me problem. The hop up is made out of plastic and seems a little cheap but that doesn't bother me any because I am ordering a new one here shortly. The inner barrel is not that great either but again I aready had a new one at my house that a put in as soon as I got the gun. It has a few rough edges on it but nothing a file cant fix. It is a great gun to start out with and customize.

hop up is cheap and a bit inconsistant
inner barrel is short and not great for outdoors
a few sharp edges that may cause blisters if you dont wear gloves
outter barrel is a two peice so it wobles a little

All in all if you are a begginer or and intermediate player this gun is great. If you are looking into buying this gun id say with the same order get a new hop up and inner barrel with it. But i like it, I put a stubby grip suppresor to cover up my longer inner barrel a sight and peq box on it and it is working good now. If you were to ask me id say buy it.

"I have had this gun for about a year and it has worked great as a middle level AEG. I love how customizable the rifle is both internally and externally. It also works well for both CQB and field use but I would recommend buying an extended tight bore barrel for the gun if you plan on using it for field. There are only two issues I had with this gun. The first is that the rails don't sit any higher on the gun than the stock so if you wear a face mask when you play and you plan on adding an optic to the gun make sure the optic has a slight raise or buy a raiser. If you don't wear a mask then you should be fine. The second issue is the feeding issue that seems common with this gun. Even with high quality G&G or KWA mags the gun did not feed well and would misfire multiple times in a row. This issue is easily fixed buy putting 1-3 layers of tape (or possibly Velcro) to the back of the mag. This pushes the front of the mag up into the gun making it feed better. But overall this gun is great for anyone who want a very reliable and awesome looking gun with a reasonable price tag.

"Charging handle fell of gave it back to fix it and they put it back together but didn't bother to change the spring and so now i can't get to hop up :(

"The reason I gave this gun only a 3 instead of a 5 is because of the box it wouldn't shoot. Later I figured out it was a problem with the hop up system in it. I don't know why but it just wouldn't feed bbs into it. After buying a new hop up it shot perfectly and has been my primary ever since! I wouldn't let my experience get in the way of buying this gun but i thought i should let you guys reading this know. But also the grip has a sharp edge where my middle finger rests and causes blisters after hours play. I had to file it down to make it enjoyable to use without gloves. Overall, personally i just think it was a faulty hop up chamber. But like i said before, it's a great intermediate gun.

"Okay after owning this gun for a week I decided to do a review, the gun in my opinion could be better. This was my first ever airsoft gun and this really doesn't welcome me into airsoft. The mag has feeding issues, the stock magazine is horrible, and it takes 30 minutes to load the magazine. In all though when the gun works correct it's great!

"pro's : comfortable feel durable polymer , nice iron sites , nice crane stock's,rails are great and comfortable,durable gear's and gear box


Con's :spring is BAD after 6 months , Hop up is polymer , has shooting problems after a while, fps dies off quickly my fps on this gun is 252 FPS :( that's why i bought a Prometheus m120 spring which you will need for this gun automatically so but a new spring with it to make it field usage.Miss feed sometimes but is rare. but so far other that the spring and hop up its a great gun!
