EMG x Salient Arms International 2011 DS 5.1 Airsoft GBB Pistol (Color: Silver Semi Auto / Green Gas / Gun Only)

"Just got it in yesterday. I like the look and feel of it alot. It has a nice sound and kick to it and so far the efficiency on shots is great. Havent got to test how many mags it empties on one co2 but I am sure it is close to two on what i have tried so far. The co2 turn screw to pop the canister is really hard to turn with your fingers.Dont know if that is just the mags i got but I just used like a metal clip to help turn it. Great buy and for the high mag, surely worth it. My favorite side arm so far.

Had to grind down the rail for my real steel sure fire X300 ultra weapon light (That was painful).
Orange tip was a bear to get off. I scratched up my barrel removing it.

"This pistol is absolutely the best secondary/backup I have ever had. Lets start with the reliability of this gun and how it is AMAZING! I have had this for about a few months now (using AIM Top silicone green gas) and it has NEVER frozen up on me even in the coldest weather. in one problem that wasn't even really one was here and there the magazine would not fill up full of gas unless you hold the magazine upside down. Range and accuracy after tuning in the hop up is really good compared to some other pistols I had like the elite force 1911 and a we g 18 semi only. Definite get if your looking for an extremely reliable pistol.

"This gun is a beast great sight!, tokyo marui internals, orange tip is on, non threaded but I filed mine down and it worked just fine, didnt see a hopup tool or anything with it but its shoots straight! No instructions came with it as to take it apart but youtube helps with that.

Before I had a Elite Force 1911 Tac and the Marui M9 and It was good but not great. I'm not really a fan of co2 or plastic slides. I sold it and baught this. LOVE IT! I give it a 5/5 for overall performance.

Extra mag is easy to find, going to get a Co2 mag for extreme weathers.

"The SAI 2011 is amazing!!

Been a huge fan of Salient Arms International and I have to say this is not just a great replica of it, but a serious training grade tool with serious weight and feel. Asides from the realistic operational functions this offers from mag release to slide locking when chamber is empty, trigger pull weight, hammer actions, the SAI 2011 is amazingly accurate and fun to shoot. I use 0.23g bbs in mine and this is by far the most accurate Airsoft handgun I have own out of my arsenal of over 20 Airsoft guns.

This pistol takes AW custom Co2 mag and green gas mag if you don't want the extended mag look that comes with the gun.

All in all, if you are looking for an awesome pistol, I would highly recommend this.

"I was expecting a licensed WE-Tech but this gun blew my mind!!
The AW custom series of pistols are like the Porsche of Airsoft GBB pistols! They done a really nice re-design of the WE platform, with extremely nice air seal on the magazine and gas economy. The pistol's blowback is crisp, strong, and realistic.

"This thing is a beast. had it chronoed at local airsoft arena, it shoots 345-350 with propane and it shoots 360-370 with hpa tapped at 115psi, very accurate and has better range than my TM Hi-Capa.

I was one of the first beta testers and I am still in love with it after a year!
I would recommend this gun as a nice starter GBB pistol, or for any 1911 fans.
