"This is a very good gun. I would say it is in the middle quality and it is a very accurate gun. The only problem with the gun is that I use a High volt battery with this and it doesn't feed in full auto sometimes.( I would recommend you getting a 7.4v battery) Now to what everyone likes reading

Pros:
Side folding stock
Very sturdy
It has a lot of space where you put the battery
Its heavy ( Could be a con for some people or just use a sling)
Its an Ak74!!!
People love asking that they like the gun and if they can try it (could be a con)

Cons:
None but I only have personal ones
My stock is a bit wobbly now
Hard taking the muzzle off

I would recommend getting this gun, It looks sexy and feels sexy.

"This gun has a great shot and is amazing. The stock is a tiny bit wobbly but it's no that bad. There was a problem that might happen to you and it is the selector switch might be very loose. So take of the metal piece at the end of the selector switch take it of and screw in the screw and it tight
by Christopher S. on 02/09/2016
"Great gun, shipping was great, everything is tight on the gun, Fps is chroned at 420 with .20 bbs, the only bad thing is the selector switch is a little wobbley.

--CONS--

OVERALL-- great gun, awesome all in all, everything is great, battery charge is about 5 hours, and the mag windup is really nice. Comes with an unjamming rod and cleaning rod, along with a free sling, with is twice as long as needed, but can be doubled up. The folding stock is really nice, and basically everything except the bolt is nice. would recommend this to anyone. Taking on a war tomorrow.

"amazing gun bought it last year and i loved it so much. its kind of heavy at first but u get used to it after awhile. i reccomend this gun for anyone .
by John C. on 02/09/2016
"The gun is solid, no stock or barrel wobble. Everything is metal except for the handguard, stock, grip, and magazine which are fiberglass. Shoots hard and fast out of the box, upwards of 380-425fps. The sling that is included is great. The included 7-cell 8.4v 1100maH battery does NOT suck. Although the charger needs to be replaced with a smart charger. The battery compartment is big enough to hold an 8-cell battery. The bolt moves all the way back, unlike the CYMA version, it does wobble a bit into the reciever. DBOY takes a more realistic approach to the takedown of the gun, CYMA does not. Includes non-unique serial number. Uses a 7mm metal gearboxas well as Tokyo Marui compatible internals. The gun is a VFC clone. Surprisingly the gun comes with a bag of .20g PERFECT GRADE BBs, wasn't expecting that. Recommended BBs are .20g.

The gun arrived with the lower handguard lock undone, so it was rattling around the barrel, scratching it up a bit. I fixed it by using some flat black R/C model paint I had, made it look brand new again.

This is the New Version of the RK-05 which has fixed the widespread magazine compatibility issues, prompting the user to file down the mag catch or the mags themselves. The only incompatible mags that I have heard of are STAR AK-74 mags.

Recommended upgrades: Metal spring guide, 7mm metal bushings, reshim the gearbox, metal hop-up chamber, and 6.03mm barrel.

"ok time for a no nonsense review... THIS GUN IS AMAZING! review done. lol jk. ok this gun with elite force .20 gram shoots at

1: 414
2: 414
3: 414
4: 415
5: 415

after testing out various bbs weights at a 244 feet away torso sized target here are the results

.20 elite force: 0/10
.23 echo 1: 2/10
.25 echo 1: 2/10
.28 core: 6/10
.30 matrix: 6/10
.32 valken bio: 8/10

having looked at these results the .32 gram valken worked the best and they are what i would recommend for this rifle.

pros: great fire rate with a 9.6 1600 mah (although i use a 1000 mah 7.4 to slow it down. only takes 1 bb to call a hit)
great trigger response with a 7.4
AMAZING range and groupings for a bone stock rifle. would 100 percent recommend this ak 74 over any other brand for the performance
very balanced weight although a bit heavy for smaller folk
7.4 lipos fit perfect in the top rail
UTG QD rail fits best with no wobble when properly installed

cons: picky as hell with mid caps. i have a used mag given to me which i believe is a g&p and it fits and feeds perfect although not 100 percent sure its g&p.
"matrix" (not matrix its cyma. rebrand guys) mid caps ak 74 style 140 rounds DO NOT fit this rifle. DO NOT buy those mids for this rifle
tiny bit wobble in stock although you dont notice unless looking for it

all in all if you buy the correct bb weight you will fall in love with this ak. A MUST HAVE!

"This gun is great! I really like the build quality and realism, CYMA AKs can't be beat for the price. At $135 this thing is a beast, it can easily outperform G&P M4s in both range and accuracy.

Pros:
Realistic stampings and build quality, the receiver is very sturdy and the plastic parts are very solid.
FPS is at least 400, I haven't chrono'd it yet.
The range is very good, its accurate out to at least 200 feet.
The side out is sturdy and level, I use a FIREFIELD AK side mount on mine and it fits very well.

Cons:
The stock wiggles to the side slightly when extended and wiggles up and down substantially when folded, neither is a big problem however.
No serial number at all.
The dust cover is not smooth like on a real 74M

Overall its fantastic, I highly recommend.

"This gun is awesome! It feels super solid and doesn't feel cheap at all. Everything is metal exept for the handgaurd and stock. Mine shoots at about 400 fps and 20 rounds per second. The only bad thing is that the magazine is polymer but that's fine

-Pros-
All Metal
Very Solid
Great fps and rps
Good range

-Cons-
Polymer Hicap Mag (This can be a pro or a con)

"Gun is absolutely great! I wanted to run it for a whole year before writing a review and it stood up very well. fps is fine with certain batteries for certain fields, love it!

easy disassembly for putting on rail handguards etc.

metal is fine great quality!

taking one star off because my fire selector came lose and so did my friends at a later time but it was a decently easy fix. I'm sure they understood this issue now.

overall I would strongly recommend this!!

"Great gun bone stock. Minor external wobble, but nothing that can't be fixed with some electrical tape shim. Rivets for the stock get a bit loose over time, but it's hardly noticeable in use and isn't a serious problem. Internally, it's a tank. CYMA gearboxes are... hard to break. Very hard to break. Basic tuning, maybe rewiring/MOSFET and you're good. Beware the hop up; mine had the feeding tube bored off center and damaged 4/6 mags before I caught the issue itself. Replaced that and it's good to go. Decent rate of fire and trigger response stock with a 7.4v 20/40C LiPo.

tl;dr wobbles a bit but is otherwise a tank that will destroy all

Removing one star for the hop up issue.

"After purchasing this gun in the summer of 25, here is an honest review of this stamped steel AK74M 6 months later:

Initially the gun was great, having great, accuracy, performance, and a strong stamped steel build. However the gun is extremely front heavy and the battery that Evike provided with the gun does not fit well, often interfering with the charging handle. I recommend getting a round and slim battery instead of the one Evike provides if you decide to buy this gun.

After the first few games, problems started appearing around 2 months later. One problem that appeared was the high cap mag that came with the gun stopped feeding for not apparent reason, causing me to buy another magazine to replace it.

The biggest problem by far is that the pistol grip started to move back and forth with the gearbox when the magazine is out, making it very uncomfortable to handle the gun when reloading without fear of something wearing something down or breaking. After tightening all of the screws and tightening the barrel against the gearbox, it somewhat slowed the issue, only for it to come back after shooting it a few times.

One other thing is it is EXTREMELY difficult to remove the muzzle and when I finally got it off some of the threading was torn. I do not know if it was misaligned from the start or if it was glued on, which the manual failed to mention if it was or not. A blow dryer did not work when I attempted to remove it. There are no replacement barrels for this gun specifically so keep this in mind. I ended up having to fit on a 3d printed muzzle on to replace it.

Overall this gun has good performance, but its tolerances are not great and it can be very frustrating. Would I recommend it? Maybe, I don't know if these problems only happened to me or not. Buy at your own risk.

"Pros+
The internals are pretty basic but not bad
the trigger feels snappy and quick!
looks Aesthetically pleasing and accurate
Feels lightweight!

Cons-
not a bad gun however materials make this a fragile gun a mix of polymer with cheap metal i soft dropped this once on dirt and the hop up adjuster bent back in place with the charging handle DUE to no metal bar protecting the hopup adjuster, there usually is one that connects with the charging handle HOWEVER cyma has changed the design and made it halfbar.

the magwell is poor design and cannot hold most AK mags well(tested on Matrix, E&L mags) Even its own Cyma mags! its wobbly has misfeeding issues in fullauto when moving, I would suggest Cyma fix these design issues
