"The recommended battery is slightly over size, so you need to use 7.4 volt and buy the converter( adapter) connector. for both 350FPS and 400 FPS.
For the dollars is OK but the converter will make you pay a little bid more. But you can use a cutter to make your own battery connection. Also if you want a high cap mag, make sure the loading door closed good.

"I can say for sure that this gsg 16 has your basic cyma gearbox with the blue compression parts. It has a fully compatible ver 2 gearbox with your standard mp5 parts. It also includes 8mm bushing which i would like to replace due to the low tolerance. I had a hard time shimming this gun.The piston it comes with is polymer, and the gears are standard 18:1 ratio. The major downside to this , is that it comes with a mini deans connectors. Make sure you buy a converter inorder to use your regular dean batteries, otherwise you may have to switch the deans connectors to standard size. I couldn't test this gun out of the box because of the mini deans included. The build construction is decent and is made with Polymer. It's a step above your shiny abs plastic but the mock suppressor seems kind of fragile. I'm afraid to take it off because I don't want to risk breaking the threads, if there's any. To disassemble this gun is fairly easy. The two recievers slides apart after removing the pins ,which is great. I would recommend this to most players looking for another option of mp5. This gun may be the same if not comparable to the elite force competition mp5 but with a more updated design.
