Elite Force Full Metal 1911 Tactical CO2 Airsoft Gas Blowback Pistol Umarex KWC (Color: Desert & Black)

"This is my first CO2 pistol. At first I really loved this gun. Shot at around 330fps which was perfect for our indoor field. Nice strong kick trigger pull, feels really good. Then a couple of things happened....for some reason while playing out in the field the slide lock pin fell out and I couldn't find it. Sort of pissed me off, but maybe it was my fault, who knows. The only way to replace it though was to get the whole build kit so it cost me another $19. Then after firing it for a while in my backyard, I noticed that part of the metal frame near the saftey lock cracked off. What?!

Oh well...I still like the gun, but I'm questioning the build quality of this gun now. I get about 3 1/2-4 mags out of 1 CO2 which was nice. Wish the extended mag wasn't so expensive.

cons: when i first got mine, my hop-up malfunctioned, by that i mean, even when the hop-up is fully disengaged, the bb's will still curve upward, so i have to use heavier bb's than what id usually use. That is the only con i have for this gun

"This gun was great until about 6 months of use after that my hammer cracked off my barrel has wobble. This gun is the best side arm i have ever owned except from the hammer. When my hammer broke off it completely stopped my gun from working. Once i replaced the hammer it went back to being the best Airsoft pistol i have ever owned. So this gun is a definite buy just be prepared to replace the hammer. I would give it five stars if it was not for the hammer

"Really nice pistol that's not very heavy and functions well most of the time. There are some pretty big problems with magazine reliability as they are very prone to leaking CO2. The gun is fairly easy to clean having the same disassembly procedure as the regular 1911 but plastic parts and the recoil spring make it a little troublesome to put back together easily.

I have owned mine for just about a year with occasional use as a backup gun in airsoft games, especially in milsims, with it functioning well and accurately. I have found out that in a hot and humid environment that the safety gets jammed up and warped so it cannot be disengaged without pushing the safety plunger on the left side of the gun back with a knife to disengage it. Plastic internals seem to be a massive downside and would have better performance if plastic was kept to a minimum to improve reliability and ruggedness.

"Full metal so that's fantastic, has some real weight to it which is great.
The blowback is awesome too, doesn't use up co2 way too fast.
Maintenance is pretty simple as well.

An issue I had was that the hammer broke in half somehow, I have not dropped it nor has it seen any heavy usage so that was kind of irritating, now I have to get a replacement kit which is thankfully available on here.
Also, despite being fairly careful with maintenance, the mags are starting to leak, so I'll have to replace the seals on those too.

One little annoyance that might bother some and others not at all is that you can't put it on safe unless the hammer is back which personally makes no sense to me.

"The Gun seemed good at the start, the metal was good quality, but after sever months of light use, the slide release pin came out. And the part necessary for repair is almost impossible to find.

"I bought this as my first airsoft pistol. I really loved it since the second I saw it in the store. Smooth. Mags worked well. But the inner parts are not durable whatsoever. I did not drop nor misuse the gun and within a month the firing mechanism snapped in half INSIDE the gun. I sent it in and they sent me a new one. Okay cool new one. But a month later and I've taken extra care of it and then the hammer actually snapped out of place. Of course they have parts for it and it's an easy fix but I won't be using this again. However I will say it's a fantastic starter pistol for the money. Just don't expect it to be 100% perfect or durable.

"This gun is a great gun, but the overall experience has been eh. Bad stuff first. It came without two screws that hold the grips on, which constantly makes them fall off or become loose. The piece on the front of the barrel that spins and allows for it to be taken apart also doesn't work properly. And worse, the piece that holds in the slide lock/lever knocked off within hours of getting it. The paint on the safety wears away easily, leaving unsightly spots, and the BB's fed wrong, resulting in a BB jammed inside the gas chamber and a couple of hours of frustration. Otherwise, incredible performance and colossal power. It works beautifully other than the...blips.... I talked about earlier.


I'm grading this on the overall experience.
