"I received this gun today and i'm very pleased by it. It has amazing bang for buck and from the research I've done should be very reliable for many years to come. Can't wait to use it in a scenario this weekend.
Pros:
Sturdy full metal real wood design
Front grip is surprisingly comfortable
Great accuracy
Nice ROF especially on a 9.6v
Cons:
rear sight fell off, cheap metal
stock wobble
shoots a little hot
Cons Explained:
I've yet to officially chrono this gun but it seems to be shooting over 400 fps with .20's which is a problem for where I play at. I was putting holes in soda cans from reasonably far away.
Stock wobble was expected, It's just the way the gun is designed and i'm not sure there's to much that could be done to fix it. The wobble is definitely manageable in its current state but may get worse over time.

"This is a solid rifle. The real wood grip feels great and the folding stock is convenient and easy to use. This is a powerful gun for the price as well. I clocked it going strong at 403 fps with .2 BBs. The only reason I'm giving this gun 4 stars is because the magazine that comes with it is complete turd. It's made out of cheap plastic and feels like it could break with any impact. But it's not expensive to buy a nice mag so it's no big deal.
If your on the edge of buying this gun, don't be! You will not be disappointed with this buy!!!

"Epic gun but be warned:
-Latch that holds the stock unfolded is plastic and may wear down or break
-Must be modified to fit magazines from other brands(My G&P midcaps dont work without modification) file down the mag latch or sand down magazines
-motor may come loose and must be tightened
-stock, front sight, and gasblock are all crooked (little pet peeve, of mine but can be fairly annoying)
-fitment of all the externals are not that great and some small things are plastic instead of metal. What is metal though is good quality metal.
-sharp edges, use gloves when gaming!
Pros
-9.6 volt stick battery of decent enough quality (use a smart charger not the included wall one)
-decent wood furniture(i recommend sanding off the original finish they put on it and refinishing it yourself)
-the metal bits are good quality metal
-folding stock
-battery space(stick types)
-afordable
all in all, its a good gun for the 130 bucks i got it for. i have more expensive guns but this guy kinda fills the gap as a good quality alternative to loan to friends or as a backup gun or to fit that OPFOR look. its ready to use out of the box but can use a little work to make it truly your own.

"This gun overall is a very good gun for the price. But here are Pros and Cons about this AEG.
Pros:
Very high FPS
Good ROF
Nice Weight
Good Gears and Motor
OK Battery
Cons:
Not bad but not good quality metal (one of the tangs on the front sight broke off when I bumped it against a tree)
Small butt stock (made for munchkins)
The upper receiver/dust cover falls off a lot so tape it on
Wood stain looks a little weird
The freaking Muzzle brake will not come off
The sling is junk (it hard to put on and the hook will break on it if you press it to hard)
The motor has frozen twice on me

"Great gun I love it, but there are a few problems though. She is a bit maintenance heavy so make sure you get it checked every so often and make sure you buy another battery the one that comes with isn't that great. ( it tends to fail in the cold) other wise great quality of the exterior the interior is ok but I would recommend so e internal improvements

"Friends fear this gun!
Pros:
It is accurate (and I am a stickler for accuracy)
It packs a punch.
It has a good rate of fire. aprox 14 RPS
Reliable feeding.
it looks fantastic, and doesnt wiggle. Nice solid construction.
Comes with a real AK sling, one you can trust.
Good trigger response.
Cons:
Plastic magazine which wiggles from side to side.
Wood is a laminate, that can scratch real easy.

"hey wahts the innera barrel length ?????????????????????????????

"I've initially given this gun a really positive review but after having this gun for about a year I need to be honest and admit that my opinion on it has changed for the worst. Now I'm not going to complain about the fire rate the FPS or even the internals, honestly for a entry level AEG I say that the internals are pretty good. It can shoot decently far with the hop up system, and the FPS averages out at roughly 280 to 320 FPS which is pretty passable. The one thing that is a major letdown for this gun is actually the underfold stock itself... Mine (just a month ago) decided to completely break on me and I had to get it replaced, the only problem being that CYMA does not sell replacement parts for the AKMS specifically! they have replacement buttstocks for the AK-47s, but the AK-47s uses a drastically different way to attach the underfold stock compared to the akms. I could not for the life of me get the replacement buttstock that I need to actually stay on and on top of that it decided to sever some wires inside and now absolutely no power can go to the motor... So my opinion of this gun has dropped drastically because of the lack of support for this specific gun... I do need to reiterate that I am not attacking CEMA or their line of AKs, I genuinely think they make some of the best $300 AEG AKs on the market, just steer clear of this one... If you're really desperate for a Kalashnikov rifle that has an underfold stock just get the AK-47s because at least that one actually does have repair support but in my personal opinion just stick with the solid wood or plastic buttstock ones.

"I used it for 1 short summer, let it sit for 1 year then first time picking it off the shelf and swinging open the stock, the stock release button broke and the folding stock wont lock in the open or closed position... kinda disappointed. And I can't find spare parts for it. Also the accuracy isnt the best, the BB's go about 6" to the right after about 60 ft. This is not from dropping it and bending the barrel, this was like that out of the box. Grouping is okay though. With the folding stock the gun is very front heavy which is a little wonky at times. SO FAR, its reliable and feeds fairly okay.

"Hop up died within 5 months, and the gearbox died within 8. But the first 5 months were great!

"Good/Descend external quality, except stock. It wobbles in a locked position around two inches measured at its end.
Decent internal quality. The inner barrel lacks spacers. The hop up unit could have been made out of better quality plastic, lever arm has enough space to move from left to right while cycling.
Mine came with inconsistent FPS readings varying between 370-420. Upon taking the gearbox apart, the inner surface of a cylinder has scuffs deep enough to leak the air out.

"First off, I want to say that I like the look of this gun externally and that this a solid gun for anyone wanting to start off airsoft. I ordered this gun 3 days ago so that i could rip out the internals and make it into a monster of a gun on my own. I open up the box and admire the rifle and aim down the sights to notice that the front iron sight is canted to the left about 35 degrees and this is no problem so i get out the neccesarry tools to fix it and once i start putting it back on i realize that it isnt the sight thats missaligned, its the cuts on the barrel that the pins go in, the divots are cut at the wrong angle on the barrel so that the sight posts dont fit on right that are the problem...so i got a small factory issue on my gun. I guess I wrote this review as a sort of warning to anyone who buys this gun to be on the lookout for this sort of thing (or any sort of defect on the rifle) other than that the gun is solid and is fairly accurate for the price point.

"Terrific gun while it lasted. Mine stopped working during its first field testing. However, I had been using it all day in 25 degree weather.

"Bought this gun about six days ago, the gun itself shoots quite nice and has a nice appearance; however, looks are obviously misleading. Most of the smaller components on this gun are pure pot metal, which tends to break very easily. Not four days of ownership and maybe 200 rounds through the gun and the button that is used to engage the folding stock no longer works, the stock is now free to wiggle around as it pleases. Very irritated with this product, I have contacted Evike and they are in the process of issuing an RMA.
