"I bought this unit for some giggles and it works. Never had any problems. I ordered another one for my CQB... It will always work with high quality batteries. I use matrix tracer bbs and Duracell batteries, never have any issues with it. The only down side is the unit gives your gun a pop after each shot! I would recommend getting the unit!!!

"I bought this Tracer Unit for my Walther PPQ but I ended up using it for my G&G CM16 SRS rifle. First off it makes the rifle look so awesome, love the look of it. I use it in CQB games (which can be kind of problematic because of the length it adds to your gun but it's not a huge problem honestly) which is definitely helpful because you can plainly see when you hit a target. It uses 4 AAA batteries which are pretty easy to find at any drug store or even local corner store. The price is pretty comparable to other tracer units, it might actually be cheaper than a lot of the ones out there right now. It has always worked for me. I use Matrix 0.20g Match Grade 6mm Glow in the Dark BBs with this unit and they work really well. The great thing about this tracer unit is that it doubles as a mock suppressor, so you don't actually have to always use tracer BBs, you can just turn off the tracer unit and shoot regular BBs, so it gives you options. All in all, I love this unit and would definitely buy another one if I bought another rifle.

I had this on my EF 1911 and I suppose the slide kept rocking the parts inside of the tracer and ruined it... It doesnt work anymore. Was a great tracer while it worked though. Just dont get it for gbb pistols

"It traces fine.... On the first bb. Then it shuts itself off. It may have to do with it being on my Gas Blowback Rifle We-Tech MSK. I don't know if it's just because that it isn't designed with gas rifles in mind, but I will be exchanging it for a different tracer. I haven't used aeg's in a while, but I'm willing to bet based on other reviews that it should work fine on those.

"Worked alright for about 5 minutes. Then broke and went into some "strobe" mode, effectively "missing" most of the bbs that were being shot. Maybe I just got a lemon.
