"This is a wonderful gun, it offers power, features, and accuracy that's hard to beat, for the price. This is an important caveat, for the price. As a BB gun, it's pretty good, it offers sufficient accuracy to keep your shots mostly on a soda can out at 20 yards, something cheaper BB guns can't do, and the sights are clear and fast to acquire, but they are very large, they obscure as soda can at 30 yards, and being that this is advertised for pest control, a pest bird like a pigeon is about that size. As a pellet gun, it's alright. Again, the sights make it hard to shoot accurately at longer ranges, over 30 yards, so, for taking out very small pests or target shooting, as this rifle is advertised, I would highly recommend a small scope (it does have a dovetail for mounting scopes,) just something with crosshairs that lets you get more precise, don't expect precision shooting out of the box.
As for the fit and finish, there's a big seam along the top that's a little split open, the metal finish feels pretty cheap, and the plastic stock feels like very cheap plastic, like the stuff they make toys out of, not nice hard plastic, and the texture is like that of a plastic cooler, not a nice checkering. It seems that, to keep costs down while still making a rifle packed with features, they cut corners with the materials. If they just switched to a nicer plastic, I think this gun could be a 5, I had to deduct a point for this.
All in all, it's a versatile gun that's great for any backyard or casual shooting you may want to do, be it plinking with BBs at 20 yards using only 3 pumps, or, with a scope, paper target shooting at 40 yards with pellets and more air, and for smaller pests at the max 10 pumps. It won't win a beauty contest, but it should do the job.
