SCREW LOCK JOINT
Specially processed joint specification combines increased fixing force at the joint part with ease of removal. When the rod is twisted to put in the joint, it is tightened like a screw, which increases the fixing force and makes it difficult to pull it out. When removing it, twist in the opposite direction to release the fixation.

V-hold front grip
Adopts a front shape that enhances gripping power when gripped by making the cross-section of the front grip V-shaped. This reduces the load during power fights and enables a stable handling.

X GUIDE touch-free titanium
The use of PE line as the main line material has become the mainstream in today's rock shore games. To improve trouble-free performance at this time, the diameter of the guide and the height of the frame were reconsidered from scratch. By making the guide diameter smaller, the PE line is converged immediately after it is released from the reel, suppressing fluttering. In addition, the height of the frame makes it difficult for flapping PE line to cause blanks touch and suppresses fluff.

Double-wrapping specification
Each guide is double wrapping specification with emphasis on durability. Supports repeated full casts and power fights in which the rod is bent vigorously.

SHIMANO original seat (CI4+)
Original reel seat using SHIMANO's original lightweight material CI4+ reinforced by carbon fiber. Low-step shape is characteristic, firmly grip is effective even when gripped tightly, and supports full-power casting and fighting.

Guide cover
For large guide that pursues blanks touchless, a specialized guide cover is included to prevent damage due to unintentional fall down or impact when moving. When packing for expeditions and others, damage to both sides due to contact of the guide with other objects is also prevented. Everything is for safe use during actual fishing. The guide cover can be attached and detached while threading the guide.

Spiral X Core
Spiral X Core is Shimano's newest and most advanced blank construction technology. By integrating Spiral X carbon tape construction with Toray Nanoalloy® technology, Spiral X Core constructed blanks benefit from up to 10% more torsional rigidity and up to 15% more compressional rigidity than rods built with Spiral X. Shimano is unique to the market by applying by high-strength carbon tape with this unique and patented Spiral X construction.

X Guide
The X guide was born from the viewpoint to bring out the potential of blanks to the full. Supporting the guide rings of the tip part is a one-piece structure frame molded with the latest material by 3D technology. Its beautiful shape combines strength with the calculated inclination angle and three-dimensional structure to suppress line entanglement. The tip guides are light and small. In the butt part we have the Aero Titanium X guide which contributes to casting feeling and casting distance. X guide is Shimano's original high performance guide which fused lightness, trouble less, casting performance to higher dimensions.

Hi-Power X
Hi-Power X construction uses diagonally-wrapped carbon tape to form an array of "X" shapes on the rod blank's outermost layer. The width of the tape, its winding angle and the part of the rod being wrapped are fine-tuned according to the target fish species. This manufacturing process allows Shimano to adjust these wraps during construction for precise actions, enhanced overall strength and added twist resistance. In short, Hi-Power X construction delivers sharp and crisp rod control for the angler.

Screw Lock Joint
The SCREW LOCK JOINT achieves increased joint strength and ease of detachment by special machining methods. When twisting the rod sections as it is twisted like a screw, the fixing force increases and the sections are more securely locked on the joint section. When unscrewing, the sections can be easily unlocked by twisting in the opposite direction.

CI4+ Reel Seat
CI4 is a Shimano original material reinforced with carbon fiber that is lighter and has a higher strength than conventional resin material. CI4+ is an advanced version of the original CI4 material and is 2.5x more rigid than its predecessor. The use of CI4+ for the reel seat increases sensitivity and reduces weight while also delivering remarkable rigidity for perfect reel fixation and better rod efficiency.
