Features Realistic 1:1 Replica Full Metal Barrel and Trigger Assembly Real Wood Stock Hybrid 6mm / 8mm Metal Bearing Gearbox Design with Steel Gears Gearbox is Fully Upgradeable with Marui-style Internal Parts Working Bolt-Catch to Aid in Hopup Adjustment Realistic, Adjustable Front and Rear Sights Integrated Sling Adapters (compatible with WWII style slings) Smooth-Feeding One-Piece Hopup Unit Low-Resistance 16AWG Internal Wiring One-Piece Cylinder Head with O-ring Sealed Air Nozzle The M1 Garand originated in 1936 was the first semi-automatic rifle to be generally issued to the US Armed Forces. It replaced the older standard issue bolt-action M1903 and was extensively used throughout World War II, the Korean War, and some of Vietnam. Regarded as "the greatest battle implement ever devised" by General George S Patton, the M1 Garand has a long history and even lengthier service record.
The ICS M1 Garand does some serious justice to its real-steel counterpart. Outfitted with a beautiful real wood stock, full-metal barrel and trigger assembly, and 1:1 replicated look and feel it is definitely an Airsoft gun that will be a great addition to any player's arsenal, whether it be a collector's piece or used on a regular basis. The ICS M1 Garand also comes with a sturdy full metal 6mm / 8mm bearing hybrid gearbox providing and a long service life.

" I purchased this rifle back in 2014 when it first released and it is still going strong. It is one of the only airsoft rifles I have owned that I have not had any issues with. It has impressive performance right out of the box and is a head turner for sure. I always receive compliments and have people coming up to me asking if they can have a close look at it. I have only seen another player with an M1 once, so I’m guessing it’s a rare sight in the Midwest right now. My only gripes are that the trigger guard is technically an M14 trigger guard (not easily noticed by players unfamiliar with M1), and the wood furniture seems to be a little loose in the fit, but will not come apart on you. The orange tip is glued on and is not threaded. I ended up just breaking it off using pliers.
I’ve been pretty rough on the field with this rifle and it holds up to the punishment well. It will dent from bb strikes though and the dark stain finish will lighten up in the spots where you grip it over time. I like this worn look, but if you don’t, then don’t bother fielding it. I’ve also fitted my M1 with a 1903 model sling as well as a rubber M1 bayonet replica.
Note: The bayonet won’t fit perfectly on this rifle without modification. The barrel and gas tube on the ICS M1 has a slight gap between them that the real M1 does not have causing the bayonet ring to misalign with the barrel.
Pros:
-Solid stock internals and externals (both hold up well against years of heavy use)
-Stock internals are solid and do not require upgrading
-Excellent stock accuracy and range
-Good weight and feel
-Lots of compliments from other players
-Has that “WWII feel”
-Can classify as a DMR if it exceeds (shoots hot) an Airsoft field‘s normal AEG rifle limitations during chrono.
Cons:
-Wood furniture has some wobble
-Wood dents from bb impacts
-Stain finish lightens up over time with wear (could be pro)
-Not 100% accurate replica externally
-Price has gone up since I purchased it.
-Some internal upgrades may be proprietary
Overall I definitely recommend getting this rifle if you are considering it. It is an excellent choice for WWII enthusiasts and holds up well performance-wise against modern airsoft platforms.
" one of the best WWII airsoft rifles to have!
Shoots very accurate with the .20g bbs
For the reenactors out there, the mags won't fit in the 10 pocket belt but they will fit in the bandoliers and the paratrooper rigger pouches (small)
Really awesome real wood stock and style!
" I had purchased this airsoft gun almost 2 years ago with the thought that it was just gunna be a show piece.
I took it out to one game using .20 right after I bought it and its was ok I wasnt blown away or anything. Well at my local field we were doing a d-day based game about a month ago and I decided to clean the dust off and take it out for the day. I started sighting it in with .30 and I was getting really good range. And what suprised me even more I have .40 that non of my other guns could hop but this m1 garand hopped the .40 like it was nothing.
Once getting my sights dialed in with .40 I had very little effect from the wind and could hit basically anything I put my sights on with one shot.
PROS
. Very accurate
. A true dmr
. Can hop heavy weight bbs.
. Very sturdy
. Feels pre upgraded
. Amazing on a shelf/stand and amazing in the field.
CONS
. I found the orange tip difficult to remove.
Yes this is an expensive gun but in my opinion the price is fully justified. I've used friends krytacs and other good high quality guns. I feel as though this sits up top with some of the best and even better then some
