"This Optic Shield is definitely sturdy & can withstand direct hits several times. I play in an outdoor field which has a limit of 400FPS. I use .32BB's I'm pretty sure other people in my field do as well & this shield has done its job well. Must get this Optic Shield if you run an expensive red dot. It is better than other brands I've tried, it being thicker & having a better mounting system than others in my opinion. Recommend this to those who play indoor as you have a higher change of getting your red dot shot out in CQB environments. Applies Outdoor as well. So, add this item to cart if you run an expensive red dot & don't let the haters knock out your new EOtech that caused you a fortune just so you can have bragging rights.

"These things are beasts. I play on a small outdoor field with a fps limit of 400. This thing has taken at least 2 dozen hits with no marking over the years. It's like double the cost of lower end options but unless you get a lemon, I don't see this thing ever breaking and for me it seems like I'll have this one forever
