"So you've been looking at this revolver for a while, watching videos and mulling back-and-forth whether or not the plastic build is what you really want. You also have been considering that the price seems a little steep for plastic and when you found out the hammer was also plastic you had to start the process of consideration all over again right? Well here's what I'll tell you and hopefully this helps.
If you're looking for a nice hefty, realistic, metallic framed and loud revolver this is not that at all. You're better off with an elite force peacemaker or case in the hole for that matter. Now if you want a revolver that replicates to look of the SAA.45, don't mind that it's basically plastic, very lightweight, shoots at a low 80 to 90 FPS, is a fun quick plinker without the fuss of CO2 cartridges or gas refills, low noise then this one might be for you. I personally bought it because I have other replicas that are heavier weight and I love to twirl them old cowboy style but the weight kinda gets in the way sometimes, this is perfect for twirling and shooting down cans. The shells that come with this replica are absolutely awesome and even though they are plastic they somehow feel really nice and slide into the revolver smooth as butter. Here's the honest truth, this replica is a bit expensive and with this money you can actually get yourself a really nice replica that sits a lot closer to the real thing. The replicas like the elite force are going to give you a lot more power also and some other rep because even allow you to put more bb's into the revolver than just six or eight bb's.
At the end of the day what made me decide to buy this replica is the fact that I can easily twirl it around the house and other places without exhausting my hand and I also still get the fund slow methodical single shot load experience. Yes it is plastic but once you hold it in your hand you'll see that it is actually a beautiful replica and the fact that it is also Tokyo marui branded helps a lot. If this is your first revolver and you plan on going to an airsoft field then I would say absolutely know this gun is not for you but if you have other replicas and you just want something where you don't have to mess with CO2 cartridges and gas and just want to plaink around your room or outside or even super close range CQB then I'd say go for it.

Pro: included shells have cool spring technology and are really nice to look at and feel great
Con: again plastic and if they break you don't have any extras

Pro: super pretty and beautiful gun
Con: I feel like it can break pretty easily and also taking the orange tip and stickers off requires a heat gun which can melt the plastic if you're not careful

"Most of the construction is made in metal and although the hammer is not, it is still comfortable to prime. While the firing pin does not function to fire the revolver, it also does not leave serious marks on the back of the revolver.

"The design of the gun is definitely up to Tokyo Marui quality, but the gun just feels cheap when handling. I've shot it quite a few times and it is extremely consistent and even has a hop up to adjust. The issue is that for $145 dollars you can get an all-metal CO2 Colt from Elite Force (the Smoke Wagon) that feels miles better in terms of quality.

This Colt is well made, and certainly high quality spring powered revolver, but $145 is just too expensive to get something with this much plastic. Go with the Smoke Wagon if you want a Colt.
