"I bought this magazine with my E&L AK-12 in December 2022, since the E&L magazines were not available at the time. This one was more expensive than the E&L one, but I believe it is worth the higher price. I tested this magazine in an E&L AK-12 and a CYMA AK-47 (CM028).

Pros:
• It fits in my E&L AK-12 much better than the E&L magazine that came with the gun. It is more snug and wobbles far less.
• It fits in my CM028. It is probably also compatible with other CYMA AK platform guns. The fit isn't as good as CYMA magazines, but it does work.
• On my AK-12, it makes a click when inserted properly. It is a satisfying sound that functions as an indicator that it is inserted properly. The E&L magazine does not click unless it is loaded into the gun very quickly.
• The appearance is closer to its real steel counterpart than the E&L one. It is merely cosmetic, but adds extra realism.
• The overall quality is superior to the E&L magazine. The plastic is harder and will take longer for the surfaces that mate with the gun to wear out. The injection molding seams are smaller than on the E&L magazine.

Cons:
• The one I bought stopped feeding after around 50-100 shots. However, I contacted Evike customer service and they sent me a replacement free of charge. They even covered the shipping, and did not require me to send back the defective one, which mysteriously started working again after a cat pushed it off a shelf. Both have worked flawlessly since then.

I absolutely recommend this magazine over the E&L version. It is better in every way if you have an E&L AK.
