About the i5 Gearbox. While the traditional version 2 gearbox has for the most part remained unchanged since its inception, small changes have occurred over time, usually as the result of popular user modifications that were then made into factory available options. With input from players and vendors, G&P has released their newest iteration of the Version 2 Gearbox, the G&P i5. While internally similar to their tried and true V2 gearbox, the i5 comes from the factory with a plethora of upgraded components. The i5 is powered by an M140 motor and features 8mm bearings for more robust performance and reliability. The top-down QD spring guide makes spring changes far easier, requiring only the removal of the upper receiver and buffer tube screw. No gearbox disassembly required.

Also included is an inline MOSFET with electronic trigger and Electronic selector, eliminating sensitive trigger switches and selector plates. The i5 gearbox takes the traditional V2 gearbox and makes it more reliable and user friendly, without sacrificing the performance that players have come to expect from G&P.

"THIS GUN CAN ONLY USE AN 11.1v BATTERY! However, with that being said out of my massive collection of airsoft guns this is my second favorite. This gun has the fastest fire rate out of any of my aeg’s. This gun chrono’d at 320 fps with .25 bbs and shot at an outstanding 24.5 rps! I was blown away! This gun is fun.

Pros: RPS!
Lightweight
Adjustable Stock
Extremely Accurate and precise.

Cons: The Stock has no opening for the battery, which forces you to place the battery inside the stock tube.
It’s stock mid-cap needs to be sanded a little for easy reloading. It’s way to tight out of the box.

OCD Con: I wish the two fans matched better, but the metal in the front is very nice I just wish it was all made out of that aluminum.

"This is an exceptional compact M4.

The externals are A+. Internals are solid out of the box and can be easily modified. This M4 shot about 405 FPS w/ .2 BBs right out of the box no problem. Extremely accurate to about 120 feet. Definitely recommend going with a heavier BB for better accuracy and if you need to get the FPS to 350 for an official CQB game.

Takes Matrix metal high cap mags beautifully.

This gun is very LOUD. Its a GREAT sound, but it is LOUD.

"Great gun, only uses an 11.1v Lipo and KWA midcaps don’t fit so you need to file them down a bit but verbal amazing gun.
