The MAC-10 is an open bolt submachine gun or machine pistol developed in 1964 by the US military. It was built predominantly from steel stampings and has a telescoping bolt, which wraps around the barrel, makes this weapon finish in a compact size and balances the weight over the pistol grip when the magazine is located. However, the open bolt system it used result in a rapid rate of fire and the hard to control the muzzle climb. MAC-10 shared the same magazine with M3 Grease Gun in order to save the cost of develop a new magazine, also its barrel is threaded to accept a suppressor, which worked by reducing the discharge's sound, without attempting to reduce the velocity of the bullet.

The JG MAC-10 is a faithful design for the collectors with compatible parts to the Marui version. It is reliable, compact, with great power and portability.

"The JG Mac-10 is a pretty good sidearm for its price, and one of my personal favorite guns simply because of the look. I bought this with the expectation that I'd be receiving a decent gun, not top of the line but also not bottom of the barrel. I also bought it to suit my riot shield playstyle in hopes of using the Mac-10 one-handed.

Here's what I bought:
- The gun (suppressor package)
- Spare Standard Magazine for Tokyo Marui MAC10
- https://www.evike.com/products/28827/
- Matrix 7.4v 680mAh LiPo Battery
- https://www.evike.com/products/78701/
- This is a LiPo battery. The gun takes NiMH batteries by default, but I like LiPo better
- You must purchase the Tokyo Marui EX Conversion Adapter to use this LiPo battery
- Tokyo Marui EX Conversion Adapter
- Purchased in conjunction with the 7.4v 680mAh LiPo battery
- The battery clicks into the adapter and allows you to use the LiPo battery as the power source

Here's what I concluded:
- The spare magazines fit and cycle perfectly
- The gun feels great and solid. Feels like it could take a bit of a beating, but I would still handle it with care when possible
- Reloading is pretty easy. You can drop the magazine by pushing the lip on the bottom of the grip with your dominant hand or palm it with your other hand

Pros:
- Excellent value for its price
- This gun (suppressor package as well) goes on sale frequently
- The gun actually went on sale the day after I bought it, lol
- Can be used in a holster with the suppressor attached
- Discovered through research
- Can mount a sling to the front and rear of the stock
- Polymer frame, can be onehanded due to light weight
- Doesn't feel like super cheap polymer
- Decent ROF, nothing spectacular but shoots about 7-8 rounds per second which is enough
- Pretty battery efficient when running LiPo, not sure about NiMH
- Stock can extend, although not super far so expect to hunch forward to utilize it fully
- Hopup can be fully adjusted
- I was able to get my .20's shooting pretty straight after some adjusting, but I'd recommend .25's or .28's maybe

Cons:
- The NiMH charger is garbage. Mine worked for a few minutes but broke after putting the battery in for the second time
- This may have been due to user error for inserting the NiMH battery the wrong way, but this also wouldn't instantly break the charger if it was a good product
- This didn't effect me at all since I'm using LiPos anyway but I would've liked to hold on to the charger
- Lower FPS than your average AEG. This is to be expected from these AEPs
- This doesn't make the Mac-10 perform worse though. You can expect fast and accurate shots indoors at close range, just be ready to use full auto if you're outside fighting at mid-range like me
- The Hicap magazine that comes with the gun is... average. You should pick up some spare Midcaps for any airsoft gun anyway
- The Hicap in particular doesn't seat well in the gun and I've heard they can feed awkwardly
- The front sling swivel swings around a lot
- If you buy the suppressor version (which I recommend for looks), it can be screwed on tight to lock the swivel in any 360* position you'd like

Overall, very happy with this purchase. I love the Mac-10 and I hope that it holds up as I take care of it. If you like the Uzi/Mac-10 platform like me and the gun happens to be on sale, you should grab it!

"Love mine. Fielded it this past weekend and it rocked. Yeah its plastic but love the weight savings. Really glad I ordered a 7.4 aep lipo for it, I had to get the EX adapter elsewhere as evike is sold out. The battery that was supplied was dead on arrival and would not charge. I do like how it comes with a hicap and the TM mags are literally identical. You can't tell which is which. The stock release takes some getting use to. Pull just a little to much and the whole thing slides out. But thats just user error.

"People are always surprised when they saw that I had a Mac10 that was an AEG out on the field, great starter gun, recommend the lipo upgrade otherwise you can pull the trigger 3 times before the cycle rate actually fires a BB.

Pros:
-AEG
-fps good for indoor fields
-Lipo upgrade avaliable
-High cap reliable and can last you multiple rounds without needing a refill
-Cheap**
-Good loaner gun to friends when you get an upgrade
-Feels durable
-Semi mode for semi only fields
-hop up

Cons:
-Almost fully plastic (it's 100$, it's what to expect)
-Rate of fire is like a third of the real thing on full auto, even with lipo upgrade
-bigger than the real mac10 I believe
-doesn't take M3 Greese gun mags :(

Worth it for a beginner or cheap backyard fun
