Designed in 1938 and fielded in 1940, the MP40 machine pistol, designed by Heinrich Voller and manufactured by Germany's venerated Steyr Mannlicher became the cutting edge tool of choice of the Third Reichs Wehrmacht. Made from stamped steel and designed to fire from an open bolt, the MP40 was compact, lightweight, easy to use and could spit 9X19mm rounds down range at a blistering 550 rounds per minute. With over 1.1 million produced between 1940 and 1945, the MP40 became easily associated with the field grey clad Wehrmacht.

"Had an issue with a defective mag and had to go to another site to get a replacemeant and it works well but it only holds like 18 BBs in the magazine and i have to do it by hand because no speed loader will work with it, (that ive found at least). So overall great replica, great gun, but mag design is not very good.

"Great gbb for ww2 stuff....downside is mags are non-existent in the states...why evike EU can stock them but evike US can't is beyond me.
