    "Amazing, shoots well right out of the box.

    Used ones are less pricey but hey new LE is nice.

    I'd recommend changing the stock spring though, both my gun and a friends gun have had cracked gearboxes from shooting stock.... the spring is just too powerful.
    I'd go with an m110 it shoots 400 right on the dot.

    Overall very solid.

    "Arguably the best shooting airsoft gun I've shot without any modification. It is a beast. Everything feels sturdy, rock solid. The materials are simply amazing both outside and inside.(except from the extractor cover).

    To find a minus you have to go outside the gun itself:
    It is pricy, no doubt about that, although you won't feel cheated...you can get solid performers as well for few more than $400.

    It is very difficult to find good mag pouches for HK417.

    Although I never held a real HK417, I think the weight is not well distributed. Too much on the hand guard, making it difficult to aim without a grip or bipod.

    Overall, the gun is truly a top performer, and you won't lose any duel farther than 40 meters against any carbine or assault rifle replica. This toy will be more accurate, more powerful and mainly, more reliable. Out of 15 shots you'll put 11 on bull's eye shooting up to 60 meters.

    I don't put 4/4 because its price is too high.
