"I got this as my 2nd Airsoft AEG Rifle after getting dismayed by nylon polymer frames. Once I got this and took it to a game, it did not disappoint what so ever.

Point 1 of the gun is the weight, with it being about 6lb, you will feel the heft of it. Great for outdoor short-styled games, however, it starts to lose its luster in CQC or multi-day scenarios as carrying this thing will get tiresome.
Point 2 is the externals. The wood finish is fantastic, the moving bolt cover when firing is superb, the metal work is excellent and the gun can take a major beating from falls and scratches. The only downside with the externals comes when trying to add any attachment to the gun, with a major problem occurring when trying to find a rail dust cover constructed for a Chinese-style AK-47 vs the more common Romanian-style cover.
Point 3, the batteries. The batteries are stored in the stock of the weapon with you needing a Phillip head screwdriver on hand to get to them. Afterwards, you will find a hollow out compartment with a Small Tamiya connector designed for small brick type batteries. You can put a nun-chuck type in there with about 3 minutes of fiddling but you will be doing this a lot as this gun eats though 9.6v 1600mAh NiMH batteries in 3 hours, so either hollowing the stock out more or just sticking with brick-type batteries are highly recommended.

This gun is perfect for any new players to airsoft or people who wants something that works out the box without having to tweak it, however, any competitive players should look elsewhere as the weight and length of it will kill you in any long-term games and CQB events, in addition to the hassle and DIY skill needed to get it to Tacti-COOL standards.

"Just received this in the mail so I have yet to take it into an actual match, but WOW. First thing I noticed is this sucker is HEAVY. I like that but I may become annoying if you are playing for 3+ hours at a time. The gun feels great, and the wood furniture looks amazing. I got the package with the 9.6v NiMh, and even without a LiPo battery this thing shoots really fast. They weren’t kidding when they said “high discharge battery.” The battery fit is a little tight in the stock, partially because of the big fuse that has to fit in there. I assume it’s there to protect the gun’s internals. But once you figure out how to fit them both in it’s not problem. The electric blowback bolt sound is pretty loud and cover the electronic noises from the gears. This gun feels high quality and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for an upper-mid range Airsoft gun.

-hop-up seems a little finicky, it’s not a rotary unit but I’m sure once I get it figured out it will be fine.
