"I bought this gun over 6 years ago, mine has a metal outer barrel, not sure if that is the case anymore but I would not worry about it breaking either way. None of the internals have ever failed and if you make sure to lube the mags regularly and use plenty of silicone oil in your propane adapters if you choose to use propane. I've never had a misfeed, only problem is that with the thin double stack mags it can be hard to get off every round before running out of gas. still a great gun and would highly recommend.

"Awesome gun!
Pros:
holds more bbs than other guns its size(25 or 26)
Feels really nice
Awesome blowback! way better then your usual one. I was shocked when I tried it for the first time.
Very accurate for a sidearm.
Sounds close to the real thing.

Cons:
If you only have one mag, the co2 runs out towards the end of the 3rd time you use it. Which is why you carry extra mags or co2 cartridges but don't let that stop you from buying this gun.
