Product Description

The G&P AR-14 QD Sling Swivel Mounting system is constructed to the highest standard under the high standards of G&P. This mount is designed to slide onto the buffer tube behind the AR-14 / M4 / M16 receiver. Push-button integrated sling swivels can easily be attached or detached.

    "Sweet.. this is just what I wanted. Easy to mount, and I like that you can change which the side the sling adapter is on. The clip is very strong. Great product!

    "Sturdy part that I realty hoped would have work out but I ended up going another way. This part is nice quality but it was my application that got in the way so not sure if that is really the part's fault.

    Keep in mind that the alloy construction results in a thicker flange. So expect a quick change buffer tube (ex. CYMA) will not be able to move in enough to clear the quarter turn lugs. You will have to clearance a slight amount away ( maybe 1/8" or less) from the buffer tube to make the threaded end shorter. Then the tube will clear the lugs and work normally. Relatively easy to do with a sanding block in 15 minutes.

    Here is the tougher one for all these replica parts. The are made to close-enough spec in terms of the QD. A real Magpul QD adapter will just not stay locked into this part. My slings are all Magpul so this part is useless for me. I was not going to merge a rando QD adapter into my slings. Bummer.
